Oh oh... be prepared for the onslaught of opinions regarding the value of cosmetic accessories. Aside from that I'll just recommend not to try painting it yourself. People underestimate the need for proper prep and the value of professional experience. Also, if you've going to paint it, consider a two-tone design. Many of the scoops don't offer much because they're so flat, but I bet some creative paint highlights might really help it to pop.
