Correct locations for factory fender emblems?

Makes you wonder how they pick where its going to be? You would think they would pick standard measurement like 1.5 down and 1.5 over. Unless its suppose to be 1.5 down and 1" over

I think they have a template to get it in an approximate location. Either that or a robot is doing it.
