Funniest one was driving down the pumps at the local Buc-ees during a busy Saturday midday and there was this group of early-20's urban folk who had just climbed out of a nice, new 4dr (pretty nice looking) Jeep. As I went by, I hear real loud the guy on the end say "SEE. THAT's what I wanted! But we got this Jeep now!!" 👀 Bronco's were still order-only then I guess they didn't want to wait??

Thanks. My children were all grown, and the minivan was on its last legs. About the time I turned 75, in 2022, I got a video text from a dealer about this Badlands as a cancellation, so I grabbed it--at a markup I'm embarrassed to disclose. But you're only 75 once! And I do what I consider fairly serious off-roading.

At least he didn't call it a Jeep!
About 50% of the positive comments are “I like your Jeep”. I thank them and say “it’s a Bronco”. The other 50% gush over it; many spout off about the Stroppe of yesteryear; many women know all about Bill Stroppe..former groupies?!😂

The cop: “what year is this thing?!”

me: “23”

the cop: “I thought this was a dang 27 lookin like it’s from the future! Slick ride”

in his defense he was a Dallas motorcycle cop.

I have a Cyber Orange OUter Banks and I get a lot of positive comments, especially about the colour. A few “jeep” comments and a few that must be answered with “ this is a REAL Bronco not a Sport and that is why it is bigger, has a tire on the back and no roof rack. I love my Bronco….

Pulled up to a gas station, and the attendant said "I didn't know Ford made a Jeep"

Most people just want to know if I like it. For me though the bottom line is my wife no longer wants a Jeep (junk) Wrangler.

My bro-in-law said he'd really like to go "quading in my Jeep".😕

A guy out a Tahuya ORV said, "That's a really nice truck to have out here." Which I interpreted as "Nice Bronco, but you're an idiot." I get lots of "Nice Bronco" shout outs there.

But let us not for get that Ford built nearly 1/2 the "Jeeps" during WWII with the designation GPW. And one theory on the origin of the Jeep name is that it derived from the "GP" in GPW, though there are other theories. I personally like to believe all Jeeps are named after Fords.

Edit: And that iconic Jeep grill. It was originally an expensive and fabricated unit. Ford was the one that said, "Why dot we just stamp those grills and slots out of sheet metal?" And they did.

My son and I were at a Packers Vikings football game a few weeks ago tailgating in my Braptor and had a guy ask me when did jeep start making vehicles like that. I told him it was a bronco raptor and he had to go to the back of the vehicle to verify what I was telling him. I guess he didn’t believe me. Go packers.

My best friend rode in my 2dr yesterday while Christmas shopping. Much easier to get around in Wichita, KS versus her Washington, DC. Said she loved it and now wants one of her own. So, we will see. She thought a 4dr would suit her. Of course she doesn't understand the moar door versus real Bronco disagreement. Haha. And that is okay. Then said she wanted a white one. Had to remind her about OJ. Haha. Everybody I talk to likes the Velocity Blue.

I live in Portugal and pick up my BB in Germany and drove it back home.

Tons of Thumbs ups and nice comments comments on the drive back and since being back here. One guy stopped in front of my in a round-about just to give me the thumbs up!!! Even without the comments the looks I get as I ride around Portugal is sort of a smile maker.

There are only 2 models offered here in Portugal and both are over $115k - I did not know that until I went for Insurance (So my $50ish BB-SAS is insured for 118kEuro!).

I saw my first real one in the wild 2 weeks ago on travel to Belgium. A white Braptor parked outside the train station near my hotel.

I'm coming from a 12 Wrangler Rubicon and now the Jeepers don't wave at me...

That I must have a small wiener to get such big tires……They are the stock 37’s.
If those 37s were aftermarket, well, maybe they are compensation. But not if you use them offroad. But yours are stock. A Raptor, I presume? Maybe you should say, "My Bronco was born well endowed, just like its owner."

Wisecrack about Harleys: "The louder the pipes, the smaller the weiner."
