Last year we were pulling my home built squaredrop to Merus and a mother and her 3 year old son stopped us in the HEB parking lot and asked if they could take pictures of the Bronco. I ran and grabbed our bronco stickers and gave him some, he was shaking he was so exited to sit inside and get stickers.

I’ve probably got the most powderpuff looking version and when I went back to the dealer for the hitch install, this grizzled old guy smoking a cigarette just outside the service department says “Nice rig”.

People really are deceived by the Bronco Sport though. Hell I was myself for the longest time. The “big” broncos are what jeep should have accomplished years ago with the wrangler

My wife always gets comments when she's running errands in my Bronco. She loves driving it. I believe she's gotten comments every time she's driven it by herself, which is way more than a handful of times. I always tell her, "the Bronco is your in to find your sugar daddy". LOL

I can count on 1 hand comments I've gotten and it's always about Eruption Green.

Well, that's because she's hot and all and the Bronco is an excuse to say something, while you.... well, look like you.

I’ve got a Ranger Raptor. Yeah it’s fun to drive and love ripping it in the dunes but honestly my Bronco 2 door is so much better in every way. My Bronco won’t ever get sold until I am gone from this earth, the Ranger on the other hand maybe one day and won’t have hard feelings about it.

I do get a lot of compliments and my Bronco is my baby. My Ranger seems to go unnoticed and people just think it’s another truck. I only have a one car garage and guess who gets the garage?

”is that the Bronco that can drive through swamps ?”

I chuckled and told her no, that’s the Everglades model. Got her phone number. Got laid.

The most frequent comment I probably get is “Nice Jeep!” I tend not to correct and just thank them for the courtesy praise. I remember when I first got it and had to explain to my 11 & 6 year old kids that it wasn’t a Jeep. Then every Jeep we drove past they called a Bronco and vice-versa. Turns out, they look very similar!

To this day, my 8 year old daughter refers to it as a jeep. Coincidentally, I still haven’t put on those side steps forcing her to pole vault to get in it until she gets it right…

In some places "jeep" is kind of a universal term for a 4x4. For example, in some old Doctor Who episodes, the characters will refer to a Series Land Rover as a jeep. Like how people use generic kleenex or band-aid terms.
