Can you use Forscan to check why the check engine light is on?

Yup. Look at the DTSC section.

You can clear the codes with Forscan as well. Saved our bacon bringing the laptop to UBB as we have some kind of module communication error that would randomly throw a hundred codes, turn off the power steering, lockers, and eliminate the ability to switch 4x4 modes. And if you turned off the engine it wouldn’t start back up. Wifey became quite proficient in how to do it herself as she wanted to keep wheeling 🤣

Thank you. How do I clear the code?
I don’t have it running but if I recall there are small buttons at the bottom of the list to clear DTSC / Refresh / etc. Similar to the Load / Save / Save All buttons when you are changing values
