2024 Badsquatch. This started happening recently. Within about 5 minutes after startup (not immediately) I get two pop ups saying "charging system service soon" and check brake system". The brake light in the cluster comes on and stays on. This will go away if I shut it off and restart. These two pop messages sometimes come back the next ignition cycle and sometimes don't. I have ForScan and get the below codes. I can clear the codes, they do go away, but will come back next time I get the pop messages in the cluster. I am going to take to the dealer as it is under warranty but wanting to know first if this is a known issue. TSB out for this? Possible loose wire? Bad module? My battery voltage is fine, when the car has been sitting overnight and before starting I will have around 12.3 - 12.6 volts. Alternator is charging the system as I did a long trip over the weekend and it kept the system charged. Voltage in cluster while running is anywhere from about 13.5 - 15.0 volts. This all seems normal.
Anyone else have this issue?

Codes from ForScan
B11D9 - vehicle battery
U3003 - battery voltage
U0121 - lost comminication with ABS control module "A"

How old is the battery? Because it is absolutely not uncommon for these batteries to be 'slightly' weak and the battery management system to lose its mind and give all kinds of weird issues. Any more, 3 years old is about the max life for these batteries. If yours was an early '24 build, you're getting close to 2+ depending on how long it sat on a shelf at the plant before being installed.

Could also be related to your driving. Lots of short trips don't allow the battery to fully charge, and once it hits a certain point it'll never accept a full charge again.

That said, the 'loss of communication' code points to a bad connection, at least to me. Definitely check wiring.

All of the above are possibilities, I make no claims that any of them will fix your issue.

The battery is new Odyssey AGM. I have been monitoring it and nothing points to a bad battery or charging system issues. It has been sitting since yesterday and I just put a voltmeter on it, 12.6v. I reproducibly get the same codes each time, no others. If it was a battery voltage issue I would be getting communication and voltage codes all over the place. I'm thinking its most likely the module or wiring.
