Changing model/trims... will it further delay the wait?

Howdy!

I have had a 4-door Big Bend in Eruption Green, 2.3, hard top, cloth seats, mid-package on order since February. No vin or production notification yet. If I were to change my trim to Outer Banks with roast leather and high package, would it further delay the wait? Has anyone had experience in changing their trims and had it impact their schedule?

Your delay is due to when you placed your order, not your build. There are tons of people that ordered in January 2021, that haven't received their Bronco.

It's not going to change much to be honest, and I think that you might be pretty pleased with the OBX trim (as I have one with cloth and it's pretty damn nice with the lux package). The high package and the OBX aren't show stoppers. Highly recommend the Advanced 4x4 with rear locker if you plan on going off-road.

Changing from a 4 door to a 2 door on the other hand, ya, that's a constraint generally. The high package has a chance of being more constrained, but that's a roll of the dice to be honest.

Im in the same boat. I have a optioned out Big Bend but considering going to a loade OBX or even a Wildtrak. Was it ever confirmed if dealers have limited Wildtrak allocations?

I don't recall ever seeing mention that OBX and High were constraints. The biggest thing that's delaying your order is likely the number of orders your dealer has taken versus the number of Broncos Ford is willing to send them.

At last I knew, standard trims were not limited in allocation (save special editions like Raptor).

So Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and WildTrak were all equal from the standpoint of allocation. If someone knows something different, please correct me.

My 2 cents. Change to what you want now if you can before your scheduled. Otherwise you may get locked in. If you get bumped to MY23 your dealership should contact you to place the 23 year model order. You can change things up then too.
