Has any way been figured out to change the set points for the factory Tire Pressure Monitoring System?
A couple "push this button" suggestions were given a couple years ago but none of them will set my pressure alarm to 30 PSI, down from the factory approximately 35 PSI.

I have not found any place in short driving distance that will do this and I don't have a computer that can run Forscan (mac).

It only know of it in Forscan, unfortunately. Called "Recommended Tire Pressure" if I recall correctly.

If you need to - you can just buy a cheapy laptop just for the purpose of running Forscan. Costs just a hair more than the dongle you need anyway. Not optimal, I know, but unfortunately I don't know of any other way to do it.

I keep mine set at 35. When the weather was cold they consistently dropped to 31/32. Never gave me any kind of alert on mine.

Thank you for confirming the Forscan requirement.
Our warning is fickle. With tires set at 29/30 it sometimes warns of low pressure immediately.
Other times I drove 30 miles and got zero warning.

Thank you the advice. It is easy to push the OK button to make it go way, but still prefer it to never come on.

EDIT:
Will this work on a Bronco?

I don't know. Forscan used to have a list of known working adapters on their forums. There are definitely some it will not work with, or it works but is flakey (connection drops, can't see all modules, etc). I use an ODBLink wireless MX+ (got it for my son so he could play with the bluetooth crap in his truck on his phone) and it's worked great, the wired CX is a lot cheaper though if you just want it for Forscan and is the one I think Forscan folks tend to recommend.

I think the low tire warning only comes in once you get down to like 5 psi less than your target pressure.

(Note, I don't necessarily recommend this) I highway drive at 30psi, but for offroadingI air down and I changed the Forscan setting set to 18 psi for a while - with the intention of wheeling at 15psi and hopefully not seeing the light (but still preserving some of the function of the light). When wheeling at 15, sometimes the warning would pop, and sometimes it wouldn't. I ended up dropping the setting to 15 so the light would stay cleared when I was riding at 15. Figured if I had a flat flat it would still go off (eventually), but once the pressure drops below 20psi it's fairly noticeable on the highway anyway.

It is listed as "Recommended Pressure" in Forscan, and when you change it, it also updates the "Recommended Pressure" that shows up in the Ford Pass app - so it makes sense that the "Warning" would pop up at something less than the "Recommended"

I know that this is a somewhat old post, but is there any detailed instructions on how to do this? I want to do it on my 2026 and there I'm sure there are good instructions somewhere, but I only seem to find things that are pretty old.
