Center Channel Speaker

I have been searching...

Has anyone seen a good video of how to remove the center channel speaker? Hopefully a view as to to to get at the recessed area.

I did the other 4 in and hour but am a little perplex as to the best way to get that grill off.

If a very easy you'll need a torx for the two screws on the part facing cabin then a trim removal tool to remove the power socket and the grill lots of vids on youtube re sound system upgrades.

Its kinda a pita because you cant see those torx screws also.

Yeah, I gave up on doing mine in the '24 wildtrak because I couldn't prior it out after taking the torx boat out

Yeah, I gave up on doing mine in the '24 wildtrak because I couldn't prior it out after taking the torx boat out

It is a pain. After 2 torx screws come out and "accessory ready" piece is removes the fun is just beginning. That speaker grill will remove but you'll need some trim tools and patience. I found it easier to work around the grill and pull from the front (where the USB ports are). Then carefully pull the back up and out. Also, inside the opening there is more plastic than the other speaker openings. With snips I could have trimmed it, with a screwdriver and a trim tool I was able to message the new speaker in to place.

It may have taken longer to do the center channel than the other 4 speakers combined. In the end it was worth it.
