I am looking to replace the stock and buy a cat back but I’m just started putting mods and such on my vehicle. I’m a 32 year old woman with no children so this is my baby so go easy on me. Other forums sometimes people aren’t so nice on here lol I am looking for something with black tips and something that won’t be obnoxiously loud but you can hear me coming from a short distance if that makes sense lol 😆 thanks in advance. Picture of my baby for tax.

The Lethal Performance site has many exhaust systems available. Best part is they have videos with sound clips comparing some of their systems. They're all filmed the same way, which gives accurate comparisons.

If you want something on the quiet side, Kooks and Thermal R&D are nice. The Borla Touring system is also one of the quieter systems, tho Lethal doesn't have a video up yet.

I like the Magnaflow Overland cat-back exhaust. You can configure it to tune the sound. I doesn't have black tips, but they are up high for clearance. The system has much better ground clearance, if you are going off road.

I have the black Borla S type. It’s throaty without being obnoxious. 1,000,000 mile guarantee is enough for me 😊

The Borla Touring is probably the ticket for you. Ford Performace is the same (made by Borla) just tip angle is straight out the back. I much prefer the Borla downward angle.

I see from your other post you're worried about warrantee the FP could be slightly better for you.

Good luck and don't burn any couches.

Thanks!! I’ll try to refrain.. much easier in my adult life. Now 10 years ago that’s a whole other story lol 😂 now I see it says 2.3 and I have the 2.7 so does that mean it’s not compatible with mine or it’s just doing to sound different but still fit because it’s tuned to the 2.3

Borla has a system for the 2.7 as well. I don't get why it's a different pn tho. Pipe diameters are the same?

You can buy the Borla system at a discount from other vendors.... Google the part number for some options. Bronco6G sponsors often give us a discount as well. And at times Ford has up to a 20% discount during holidays.
