I am surprised to see an article about it ... could be many more cancellations than we think ... I'm 100% in and waiting it out ..

Let us be first!

Sorry to see them go, but this will only move up orders for those who really want a Bronco and not just a new car. So I say "Let us be first!"

But not sure how long my wife can put up with me talking about my Bronco :)

Yes. Heated seats and intelligent access (to start) at the $34.8k price point is what I was talking about. Automatic temperature is not what you hate, but rather how it was implemented. Bronco looks to have physical knobs. For that, you have spend more to move to Big Bend and opt for the mid package. This is something vehicles at half the price have and thus, reservation cancellation.
Maybe you can get a Mitsu Mirage with heated seats for $17K? Comparing to 4WD trucks, the Bronco is not unresonable. How much is a 4-Runner with heated leather seats? From what I hear optioned out Jeeps are expensive. I don't blame you for doing something else, but I doubt Ford is too concerned about cancellations at this point -- and it helps the rest of us. I'm only in because I LOVE the design and for whatever reason it is a big hit with reviewers, and not just Ford fan clubs.

Oh I’m not going anywhere just yet. 2DR MT Lux Badlands for me. Bronco has a unique set of features that I want but others value things differently. I was cross shopping convertibles just prior to the Bronco reveal, so it checks the box. 4x4 SUV with serious off-road capability is icing on the cake that I didn’t realize I wanted until the Bronco came along. Being couped up all year has made exploring the great outdoors a must now and even outweighs the convertible part.

I am enjoying messing around with my sons 2020 Ranger FX4. We did the first oil change yesterday. I was pretty impressed with the 2.3 and the set up (minus the oil filter location and the seemingly always over tightened “first” oil filter.

I have written here before: I expect the fall out at 50%. However, that still means 90,000 pre-sold Broncos for Ford. I was in the auto business for 45 years, on both the manufacturer and dealer side, and I have never seen anything like this. Congrats to Ford! I hope they can generate this enthusiasm and excitement for their future products. Also betting the next Mustang has a 4 door version that ain't an electric SUV. Look at all the Hemi Chargers you see on the road...
Right on! Even a 50% conversion rate would be nothing less than amazing. Some on here are just looking for reasons to hate on Ford.

The color choices for the FE and the goofy looking stripes are the main reasons my wife and I are canceling our two reservations topped with it being nothing special after changing from 3500 to 7000 units.

I just cancelled one of my two reservations. I'll hold on to the the 2nd (October Granger deal) for a bit longer, but my tolerance for further delays and/or price increases is a very hard zero at this point. There are plenty of other vehicles that I would be quite happy with. I'd like a Bronco, but I don't have to have one.

For what it's worth I am 1 of 6 people I personally know who reserved. 3 of them have canceled at this point. So 50% of the people in my circle.
I have two reservations and my conversion percentage( at best) will be 50%.

I've driven about 100 miles in the last 4 months, so I'm thinking that I might even take my day 1 reservation forward to 2022 for the GREEN Bronc that I covet so much.

Hard to believe it's been over 5 months since I made my reservation. Time flies, doesn't it?

My wife is insisting on the shadow black roof now so the waiting will continue.

I am curious though, of how many reservations have been cancelled for the FE and wondering if Ford will offer those slots at the time of ordering.
The FE slots will likely very quietly go to big city volume favored Dealers, so rich people can have them for fall activities and ski season. They will then move on to whatever is hot next (some electric truck), letting the Dealer turn them over above retail again.
This is Global America, peasants need not apply.

(This is not a complaint)

But, in order for me to get everything I have now in a 2011 KIA that cost me 28k back then
.. I'd have to spend 50k on a Bronco in 2021.
,
Again I'm not complaining, but just providing a contrast to your statement. I get that your personal needs only call for a barebones base and for that I envy you. I blame my father for making me spring for name brand things, and my high-school friends for instilling in me "go big or go home". Maybe after reincarnation, I'll live a more simple life in the mid west with a base Bronco. But for my needs in this life lol, I want my true creature comforts.
I can't afford a Bronco with heated seats, so I'm going to buy a car based crossover instead. Okay whatever it takes to impress your friends. How is that going big? I'll I'm saying is you don't have to spend $50K to get a Bronco. Seriously you can get a fully loaded Bronco Sport or most any car based SUV for the price of Bonco base. I'll aim small and go with the "real" Bronco. You ger your KIA with heated seats and hopefully the heated leather seats does it for yah.
