Well, I don’t blame them one bit. Why should they get burned for being an upfront dealer and some asshat comes along and jumps his title. Not sure that Granger can necessarily do it this way. If the buyer states they are registering in another state they aren’t legally required to collect. Most if not all of our original agreements are for the purchase price, doc fee and temp tag. The titling/licensing headaches are going to just add to this never ending saga!
Address related. I moved in the last three years. Was your issue with price protection address related, name related, or something else?
I got the call today as well and have the same hurdles! I moved in Jan of 21! I will be there Friday to pick up the Bronco! All my price protections are confirmed to my satisfaction but due to address change they can’t apply it to the sale. Ford will have to mail a check. One last obstacle.
That could be my Race Red Bronco in the center of the picture!weezy_jw said:517438[/ATTACH]
I don’t disagree that they should be penalized, sucks for them. Just a pain for the honest, average consumer.Well, I don’t blame them one bit. Why should they get burned for being an upfront dealer and some asshat comes along and jumps his title.
And that’s why we have regulations. People get greedy and find loopholes. It’s everywhere.I don’t disagree that they should be penalized, sucks for them. Just a pain for the honest, average consumer.
We needed more pictures!Picked mine up at 130pm! Took longer to activate my Ford Pass and for Chip to show me everything then to sign the one paper. Great experience!
Lot is full! Said they had about 180 Broncos on site.

Keep in mind some people are able to get there sooner than others. Like me, got the call/email on a Tuesday and flew in/picked up by Friday (last week).People who picked up today: what was the date yours arrived at Granger? Someone a couple pages back mentioned they’re going in order of when they came in. I’d be interested to see what arrival date they’re up to (and betting I’m not alone in that!)

I’m sure i got there before people that were contacted before me and were done with the process. Heck they still might be waiting due to travel schedules/life schedules.
edit: it was 5 days from hitting the lot until i got contacted to complete financing after PDI. I think that’s the information everyone should be interested in. Is that gap the same or growing?
I figured it probably would at some point. PDI step might drive the boat. Only so many techs and time in the day for that step.Growing
