Anyone using them? Are they worth it? Do they protect calipers from corrosion? Do they throw brake dust away from rim? Plastic or ceramic?

Don’t think they fit 17” rims. Would be worried if going in a lot of mud.

If you have 18’s and don’t do mud, should help keep the wheel faces cleaner.

Can always paint them too. They sell the stuff on Amazon. Just clean them with brake cleaner real good. Then just paint them with a small artist brush. Touch up as needed doing tire rotations. I’ve found it’s usually good for 2 years or so before you have add another coat. Holds up good. Won’t help with the dust at all.

I wouldn't get some. Some are held on by little tabs that can easily break.
