2024 raptor green with wheel pkg, blue leather w orange belts. -$22,815 off sticker. $97,000 down to $74,000. Amazing. Dealer played 0 games. Salesman was a young/fun guy. Got the deal done in 3 texts. It’s my dream bronco

Other dealers? Horrible. Most won’t bargain $1. Take our price or hit the road. I think post covid where they are used to not having to sell. They still think they have all the power.

I looked at 3 others. Silver w/ soft top , no options -$24,000 at $69,999. No one wants it ha. I don’t think silver is popular and soft top in WI is very unpopular

next I looked at a white one in my town. -$20,000. I wasn’t thrilled with white. And options weren’t perfect. I asked to match -$24,000. Nope $0. They let me walk. Offered 0. Called me back the next day and offered -$21,000. I said -$24,000 and I’ll come now. They came up to -$22,800. But the color didn’t thrill me. I was thinking why not offer me -$22,800 while I was in the seat in front of you???

last was a green one . Extra options I didn’t want. -$20,000. Again I offered -$24,000 for sale. If they had done -$22,000 I would have bought. I love that green color! Nope he declined. He said they had 4 on the lot and I’m the first to even look at the green one. I said “ you have someone looking at it now. And you’re letting him walk”. After I left I expected a call to come back. Nope. Next day? Texted. But no price change.

shocks me that the lots are full of 24 broncos. Yet there’s 0 sales skills to sell them. If -$20,000 off was good enough why does every dealer have 1-3 of them From 2024?

I also looked at many badlands. Most salesmen put 0 effort into it. Some didn’t even answer back. Some refused to send me a price breakdown to show dealer fees. I’m not driving 45/60 minutes just to find out they have extra fees

anyone seen a sales man that looked like mine?

Older salesmen are stuffy and ridgid
Most younger ones might not even be there. 0 sales skills

my guy was fun. Maybe not totally professional but I took it as honest vs being fake.

I don’t get the sales games. I’ve bought 15 new cars in my life. I just want to buy it fast and move on. Not take days bargaining with the same dealer. While im sitting in front of you let’s deal. Not let me walk only to call me tomorrow and make an offer you should have made to start with. If you can’t do my price. Why not counter offer something. Offer -$250 just to show your trying. Some buyers just want to feel they won. Giving 0 just irritates every buyer

Nice story. I just traded in my 2023 2 door Badlands for a 2024 4 door Badlands. Great deal on the new one price wise, trade in offer was off a little. Had to have Hot Pepper Red 4 door since they have discontinued that color.

Congrats on your Braptor. I don't understand why dealers feel the need to be included in the photo op. If they are a personal friend, then I can see being included in the photo. That guy ruined what should be an otherwise personal photo op.

HPR and Eruption Green. Great colors for Broncos.
Dealer experiences of good price/trade/negotioations, and fun are a great initiation to the Broncos experience!
Congratulations!!
(those other dealers will soon be crying in their beers with all that inventory)

With so many raptors not selling even at -$20,000 im wondering if there is a future market for it? At this point why make many 2025s? Every dealer I looked up had 1-3 24s still. I do often buy cars Feb and buy left overs. I’ve never seen anywhere near this many left overs of a model( talking bronco over all). My thought is people aren’t digging $60-70,000+ for a car. I’ve read jeeps are selling poorly post covid because of the $10-15,000 price increase

Wouldn't be hard to take another pic without him... unless the OP was out of film or flash bulbs.

I liked the salesman. I’m not saving the pic. It means nothing to me. I don’t think the salesman looked professional. But he was fun to buy from. And his pic shows it !

Ill take a nice glamour shot pic for my wall when the weather improves

Congrats, Dave and thanks for sharing. You and I have been shopping at the same time! Like you, I am COMPLETELY surprised at how many 2024 Braptors are out there and I too somewhat worry about future prices. But on top of this, many 2025's are hitting the lots with only very small changes from the 2024 models (rear vents, whoopie!) and these 25's are still in the 95 to 100K range. Go figure!

I'm in California and shopped across the Country a lot to find the color and options I wanted. High on my list was the Blue/Onyx Leather and I wanted the Code Orange package to get the exterior graphics and orange belts. I didn't really feel like the $1700 CF package was worth it for me so finding one without this was great but, if not, I'd take it. I briefly debated going with Azure Blue but my mind got set early on the Oxford White. I had a couple of VERY pleasant over-the-phone conversations with a couple of dealerships and one of these deals got snatched up before I built the courage to spend $80K on a Bronco!

Anyway, I secured mine from Tradition Ford in Newark, NY. MSRP of $97,920 and I purchased for $74,334... a $23,586 discount. BUT, that discount included the $2000 Jeep Conquest rebate. Interestingly, the ONLY fee from the dealer was a transport fee (I'm having it shipped) that was $14.43. There were no doc fees, processing fess, or anything... just that $14.43. I was impressed. Now, California is going to sock it to me when it arrives as I will have to pay tax and registration fees directly to them.

Anyway, like you, an overall great buying experience and I still chuckle when I see dealers asking $90K+ for leftover 2024's.

Car salesmen aren’t salesmen anymore, they’re just the go between you and the manager, so as not to waste his time. In today’s climate, you gotta walk to prove you aren’t playing.
