Autotrader is showing 1,2XX 2024 Raptors advertised which includes a lot of duplicates. NONE of these are in the $60's and I'd say that mid-$70's would be a good deal right now whereas 2-3 weeks ago you could find $98-$100K MSRP Raptors for low $70's.
For anyone looking for a great deal on a Raptor (or any other vehicle for that matter) I would highly recommend the following steps.
Use Autotrader to search for the vehicle within the location range that is acceptable for you. For the best deal I would recommend looking nationwide and plan on...
I too would purchase now if I could get clear with no logo. I guess I'll wait until one vendor or another provides the solution that owners are looking for....
Drag coefficient can be measurably improved if you can reduce to high pressure/turbulence under the vehicle and it is the reason that OEMs spend so much money on this. At first we saw Ford aggressively sacrificing ground clearance in their TRUCKS with front air dams well below standard bumper...
The best but admittedly LEAST FUN advice is to skip on the Raptor for awhile!
Another idea is to leverage the equity of your home by getting a home loan at a far better than 12% rate and then be aggressive/disciplined to pay that off. If you don't have the discipline to pay it off...
By FAR... and I mean FAR - the largest impact on MPG's for our beloved aerodynamic billboards is wind resistance... aka speed. The bigger, badder, taller, larger-tired monster you create, the worse aerodynamics become! And that ground clearance that most of us want to brag about is another...
I agree with others that the bottom (for now) has come and gone. The $3000 rebate and the $2000 Jeep Conquest rebate expired. In addition, many of those dealers that were advertising the most aggressive prices have been successful to move their inventory with deep discounting.
That said, I...
Congrats, Dave and thanks for sharing. You and I have been shopping at the same time! Like you, I am COMPLETELY surprised at how many 2024 Braptors are out there and I too somewhat worry about future prices. But on top of this, many 2025's are hitting the lots with only very small changes...
Yep. In your example, *any* consumer would be able to get that Braptor for $78,780 which is a discount of $20,260 from MSRP. You can get an additional $2,000 from the Jeep Conquest and 1 or more of the $500 rebates if you qualify. I'd say this deal is "on par" with many other deals that are...
Haven spoken to several dealerships in my quest to secure a '24 Raptor, these are the big hitters;
$10,000 Dealer cash incentive (Ford gives to dealer)
$3,000 Consumer cash rebate
$2,000 Jeep Conquest rebate (If not extended, expires 3/31/25)
$8,000 Dealer discount (This amount obviously varies...
I get it that some folks really want the 2-door... and if you're REALLY set on going that route, then the rest of this will have no interest to you. I DO believe that we have a somewhat unique opportunity window of time where you are able to buy a '24 Raptor (albeit a 4-door) for that same...
Glad to hear that. I looked long and hard to find a Braptor with the blue leather and the Code Orange package. Signing papers tomorrow and then scheduled for transport from East Coast to West Coast starting Monday.
That's FAKE news! In other news... you are about to have a twin of your Braptor over here in SoCal... but it gets weirder because my DD is a Hyundai 5N.
I've got a deal on a 2024 Braptor in progress. I'll share more details when all of the ink is dry. I can confirm that the $2000 Jeep Conquest rebate is applicable to Raptors as well as other trims. Note that expiration of this is Mar 31 unless they decide to extend and you need to have the...
IMHO, Ford is absolutely killing it with the margins they're making on the higher trim level Broncos - perhaps especially so on the Raptor. No doubt the dealers are also damn happy too as up until recently, they've been enjoying non-trivial ADM's. Yeah, so I think we'll see a V8 but it's going...
I've been tossing around the decision to pull the trigger on a Braptor... I probably need to decide tomorrow. Anyway, I'll be looking to getthe Jeep conquest rebate. As I recall, the restrictions were that it had to be a 1994 or newer and you will have had to own it for more than 30 days...
Same here. I was a day 1 (7/14) reservation date that moved my order to Granger. I really wish Ford would "get it". Yes, Granger had an attractive price but the NUMBER 1 reason to go with them was because of Zach and the team and you didn't have to worry about getting "jacked" around. Buying...
Ford has created such a mess of this... and once again I will say that they have really mostly hurt the consumer who has been caught in the middle.
I have two orders - one of them a first day order and the other one was a few days later. Both orders are with Granger, although I am in SoCal...
I don't think that it is a common issue. It shouldn't be that hard to diagnose, however. You need to take it to a shop that has a smoke tester. These small machines generate harmless smoke and pump it into the evap system using a very small pressure. You connect it - preferably with the...
