I used to pull a 13’ Scamp with a VW Rabbit . Traveled with wife and two small kids. The Rabbit handled the little trailer so well I would think it would be a piece of cake behind a Bronco.

I pulled a 13" trailer with my vw gti. This is when the trailer was being pulled home for the first time and empty. The trailer was right at the towing capacity of the car, but it had zero issues!

This was me last night to pickup a mattress. Installed the hitch and wiring myself, so it was fun to see the payoff.

I just added a hitch and a harness to pull a U-haul trailer too. Would it be possible to share the specs or part number of the hitch mount you went with? It looks like I need a 2" drop based on what I've read. I can't decide what shank length to go with though.

I used exactly what you described, a receiver with a 2" drop. This is what I went with.

Off-road trailer. Dry weight approximately 1325 lbs. Have not been off-road yet but handles well on road.

It’s the actual bike! The guy changed nothing. Actually fixed a couple things. Garage kept and flawless with just under 20k miles on an 18 year old bike. Amazing!

Slightly more than what I sold it to him for, but that’s the market. And I made him a smoking deal at the time. My way of ”paying it forward.”
