Bronco updated. Alexa coming.

Got notification 4 days ago via ford app that my bronco was updated. Ran out to make sure it wasnt bricked and proceeded to turn auto update off. I will let others see if future updates arent bugged first.

I’m in same boat…2021 bronco and haven’t got an update since July. I was even at a dealership for oil change and asked to check why I wasn’t getting update, they claimed I have the most recent update.

They tried that bullshit line on me. Worse yet, they want to charge me the deductible on the extended warranty just to fix something that clearly happened before the 36k miles was up. @Ford Motor Company, what a crummy experience this is for the average customer. I guess I will just pay the $50 and reprogram it myself.

It may still be just a tease, but I finally got an update yesterday saying that Alexa is (oh so close to) coming. It says there's still one last update and then I can enjoy all the benefits (well for 3 years, at least).

It's out, but you won't see it until you get the appropriate update. I had to force it to update with FDRS.

Just got this notification, Bronco is currently at dealer so can’t view anything yet

and apparently another update this morning telling me Alexa is ready and I have 3 years complimentary service, so looks like it's rolling out now

meh...tbh I don't want Alexa in my Bronco. I don't like Alexa and don't want it in my Bronco. We have a couple of them at home and my wife likes them, I hate them.

I got that Alexa ring on my display. Supposedly there's a way to remove it. Just like the owner's manual is supposedly available. (I mean, it is, but not the whole thing).

Is this only on the 2022? My Ford Pass and Sync say that they are fully updated at Sync 1.9.0

I had neither alexa nor full screen then yesterday I got an update that gave me both on my dec 21' MY2021 build.

Same Oct 21 FE and my update gave me full screen car play but not Alexa, even though the update notification mentioned Alexa and not CarPlay.
