Guess is it will be exactly as fast as every other Ford running that Sync 3 or newer systems.

It’s cool and all, but that’s going to get old pretty soon.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2021-bronco-startup-screen-animation-leaked-video.836/

So they did keep the start up screen that was leaked almost a year ago. From what I can remember of that video (before Ford got it removed), was that it was smooth and didn’t lag.
It didn’t lag because you were watching the video on your computer/device, with enough resources to play it smoothly.

I’m worried it’s gonna lag on the Bronco because that hardware can’t handle the animation.

There is still time to potentially optimize animations/resource handling to smooth it out, but I’m willing to bet the final computer hardware has already been selected.

Do what? Not sure how that makes a difference. The removed video in question was shot just like OPs video. Except it was in an f150 running sync 3 if I remember correctly. The video wasn’t running natively on my phone.

Ohhhhhhh

I thought you were talking about the leak here of the actual animation files of the start up, shut down, drive mode, and gauge displays.

Disregard.

It's a cool animation but seems to take forever.
On my Mercury (Sync 1), you couldn't even see the reverse camera until it was done with the startup animation.
My Flex (Sync 3) would interrupt the animation for a camera, but activating heated seats/steering wheel meant you had to wait for the startup animation, *then* map loading, *then* a second or two of lag.

It got so annoying, I made it so long-pressing the Eject button would turn on the seat/wheel (or long-press Sound to include the passenger).

Great... I'll be turning my Bronco on and off for hours (to see this) before I'm able to even drive away.

I like this as much as I love my little scat pack bee driving across the screen on my Challenger. I wonder if the FE will get a custom one or if there will be model specific ones?

Yep, I'll be buying a spare start switch for when they are backordered and can't get a replacement for 2 months.
