I was able to snag mine before it shipped and installed it this weekend. I’m impressed with the design and the quality. They have everything packaged very neatly and the hardware labeled for ease of install. The tolerances are pretty small with the way things go together, but I was able to make the JCR Molle window panels work just fine with the Slipstream. I also opted for the foam pads on top just for a little decoration. Thanks for a quality product @Diabolical Inc.

I have one on order and am also waiting for my cactus grey wildtrak. What do you think of the pads - are they worth it? Also, are you happy with the grey pads wrt cactus grey? Are those the lighter or the darker grey pads? Tnx!

I too am curious about the pads. I had some reservations at first.

1. wasn’t sure if there was a purpose to them other than tie-down protection.
2. price.

I like it the way they look but seem expensive for what they are. I can be convinced otherwise though

I’ve only had them on for less than 24 hours but the reason I went with the pads was to break up the metal look. I also wanted them for protection against scratching in case I decided to put anything on top of the cover. These are close in color to the medium grey, but they are different. Alan with Diabolical had showed me a “mismatched” run of pads when I went in for the pickup. These ones have a very subtle blue to the grey, but the medium grey did look good as well. They are marine foam, so that’s why the higher price. I personally think they are worth it, but it’s all personal preference right.

thanks much. they do look nice, and i'm certain i'll be lashing camping/trecking gear to the top. i think i'll go ahead and order some.

I know this is a long shot but would Diabolical consider doing a version of the Marine Deck Foam Pads in a color that matches the Badlands Active Orange Interior? It would be "Black on Active Orange".
