This sucks for you. All the wait and it wasn’t what you had ordered. As others are saying, if you have any kind of price protection and are getting msrp (or less), take the bronco. Don’t let the dealer profit from their mistake. Love it as it is for a few weeks, then decide if you want to invest in new wheels and/or different suspension. Walking now to find what you ordered will be a huge hassle and be costly. The only winner in that scenario is the dealer unfortunately

Since you ordered three years ago, you're probably going to get a good amount of Ford Pass points. I got about $1200 worth of points when I bought mine, so I bought an extra set of Everglades wheels off the Ford Accessories website. Using the 20% off code and the points, I was able to get them for like $100. You could check your email and see how many points you're slated to get, and either get the Everglades wheels or the stock Sasquatch wheels. Also, the Goodyear tires that come with the Sasquatch package suck, so I sold them and got different tires at 200 miles, so you aren't missing out on much there.

After all that, with the Badlands the only thing you're really missing out on with the Sasquatch package is the different gearing and larger fender flares.

Since you are an early reservation holder, I'd imagine you have quite a bit of price protection built up, but that will only apply to a 2023 model. If you reorder and get a 2024, you could be spending a lot more than if you take the original one you ordered.

Like other have said you are not missing much without the Sasquach pkg. I have a 21 badlands non sas and love it. you actually have more articulation with the non sas BL that you would with the SAS.

A three year old “ order” didn’t start out Eruption green since that color wasn’t an initial option. Obviously your order was one of the “ reorders” and somewhere along the line you got screwed. However, I think you made out. You wont get charged for the Sasquatch package but you can take ownership of the BL, and at your leisure add a lift, wheels and 35 inch tires of your choice. No doubt it will come out less expensive and it will be unique to your liking after you add the components. I would take the Bronco without a second thought. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your BL.
In addition, an order could not have been made 3 yrs ago. The reservation system for the newly introduced Bronco started in July 2020 and the first ordering date was mid Jan 2021 (I was one of the first Reso holders and ordered my OBX at the initial order date when Green was not available). With 4.46 gearing, I wouldn’t hesitate in putting 35’s on a Badlands non SAS trim. The weak points being that the front end tie rod and steering rack items that can be easily upgraded to stronger parts if heavy off roading is in your plans.
As long as the pricing is fair, I’d accept your modified order as produced and enjoy your new Bronco.

How to find out if we have pass points? My dealer mentioned something about it, I have to sign up for some online thing, I forget what exactly she said. I'd rather not sign up or connect anything to my Bronco, but will if it means I get points.

If the Badlands is otherwise everything you wanted: Pop some 35s on it with better tires (than SAS) and call it good!

Did you download the app? Or set up an online account when you were tracking the Bronco's build progress? Look under account and they show there. You have a minimum of 42,000 points for buying a gas vehicle. Works out to about $220 in credit for accessories, service, ect. Can buy online at the Ford site and then pick up at the dealer to get free shipping. They run sales all the time. Possibly @flip can help to being he is a dealer.

Avoid Phil Long Ford. They're full of shit you can even find them on the hall of shame scam dealership list somewhere in the Order forum.

Ill make this short.
I know im not the first either

Sorry to hear. It seems this happened the most to people that were not as involved in their order as others. If you had been more on top of the order and pestering the dealer more, you may have caught this when you could still fix it. I know that it's ridiculous that you should have to do that, but that's been the reality, unfortunately. It turns out many dealers are pretty bad at supporting their customers.

Ordered optional wheels with 33’” KO2 but put some 35” KO2 on wildtrack takeoffs at a total cost of $1320. I switch between them and use the 35” when off roading and the 33” for daily driving.

Deff annoying but honestly badlands on 33s is prob the best configuration when you consider daily driver & off-road capability compromise. The KO2s r much better tires than the Goodyears too. I think the nonsas badlands is best looking setup overall but that’s just my .02

Your order got changed? It almost sounds like they removed the constraint hoping to get a bronco versus no bronco. Maybe they even hoped you would reject it so they could slap some dealer markup on it .

Do you have price protection? I would almost take it just to prevent them from selling it for any more profit. Accept it and either sell it yourself or trade it in for the bronco you do want.

Basically do whatever fucks that stealer the hardest.

I'm with these guys. Take the Bronco. Lots of people selling SAS wheels and tires. Buy a set and go back and forth. The 33's for daily driving with the 4.46s will be a smoother combo, then use the 35s for any wheeling you do. You get the best of both worlds. Put a 33 next to a 35 and there really isnt that much of a difference anyway and as mentioned by other memebers the BL has better articulation with 33s and the sway bar disco.
I'm actually thinking of getting a set of 33s for everyday driving and I have the 35s....just to get better mileage and power around town.
