October 2020 res, early March 2021 converted order. If I change trim or just detail, will the new pricing apply? If not, how the dealer gets a DORA with old pricing ?

What if I have a price agreement but added an extra option and did not receive a new agreement? Should I bring it up to the dealership or keep it hush and get rid of the Auxiliary Switches and confront them at the end with the agreement signed?

Has the price increased $2000 on every Ford vehicle? Is the starting price of an F-150, Mustang or Escape $2000 more today than it was couple days ago? I’m curious to know how much those price points have increased but I highly doubt they have inflated $2000 across the board?

The annual inflation rate on new vehicles averaged 12.2% from January 2021-January 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Would not be surprising if that number increased in the next release of the data. I think Ford has managed to keep its Bronco increases a little under the industry average over that timeframe, which is surprising and somewhat commendable given the severe shortage of Broncos that has many of us still waiting.

The price protection they've granted many of us has been worth a bundle, too. I don't think they were expecting to be eating this level of inflation.

We have to adjust our way of thinking to the reality of what is happening to our economy. It's way bigger than Ford and way bigger than the auto industry. Anyone 45 years old or younger has no memory of high inflation. It sucks that the Bronco price is getting jacked, but inevitable.

If you believe prices will come back down in the future, roll the dice and wait on confirming your order.
Only way prices come down in the future is if the government decides some folks should get their Bronco for free. ....but I guess that isn't all that far-fetched

Here are the issues I have with the price increases

1. I am losing financially for being forced to wait on a Bronco.
2. I am losing some extra enjoyment in my life for being forced to wait on a Bronco(life is short)
3. If I had bought a new 2021 Jeep Wrangler last year, at last year's price, I would be in a better position now
4. Ford does not seem to care about any of this as they are focused on new Bronco Everglades, Raptors, etc. instead of keeping things simple and delivering. I think Ford has too many models of the Bronco to begin with, and the complexity of all these different trims/parts just adds in more constraints/issues that do cause production/support problems
5. Bronco fanboys seem to be self-absorbed. They care more about Ford profits/stock than about someone who just spent 5 years of savings on their dream car, and the engine dropped a valve on their 1st family roadtrip, etc. They think all issues must be minor/outliers, anything Ford does can be justified, and any complaints should be blocked and those users directed to buy something else.

It would help if people started trying to send a message to Ford and their shareholders to stop adding in new models/complexity and focus on current problems/constraints and moving forward with delivering on their current commitments. Hopefully, a lot of us do not have to cancel our orders for Ford to start getting that message.

My build went up over 1k, my fear was that inflation was going to continue to push it up and that is becoming a reality, there is nothing stopping Ford, or for that matter any of them, from doing this monthly. My order is to late to qualify for price protection so I am at the mercy of time, which is not on my side. I am starting to think that this is the wrong time to even consider buying a new car, everything is to volatile right now. I will let it ride, but the next one may put a fork in it.

Someone please fire Jim Farley.
He is making money for Ford stockholders, why would they fire him?

He noticed this opportunity in time where dealers are charging huge ADM, buyers are paying them so he smartly started harassing dealers to stop ADM so Ford could get a piece of the pie.

Ford designed the Bronco to profit at the original price, there is zero doubt about this but buyers paying ADM gave him the power to increase the prices. Basically buyers are screwing themselves by not having the patience to wait for a product, the cost of instant gratification. This sets a precedent, don't be surprised other manufacturers do the same blaming the "supply chain and the pandemic".

So... I placed my order for a Base Bronco with my Dealer on 2/19/22 and I was charged my deposit and received an order conformation from Ford on the afternoon of 2/21/22 (i.e. Monday). The pricing on my VOC is MSRP prior to the latest price increase. I dont have a vin, or anything other beyond the order conformation from ford, and my VOC.

I texted my sales guy this Morning about this, and his response was,

"Your price will not go up and if it does you will be assigned a rebate in the form of private cash offer from Ford."

I asked for a bit more clarification on when I would see any Private Cash Offer if my MSRP is higher and I was told at delivery. For now I'm taking them at their word. I assume, PCO's are easier to sort out compared to physical rebates offered to 2021 orders.

That's my experience, mileage may vary.

I’m just ranting cause of the reservation and order mess that has now seen two price increases on my build that’s not going to improve quality nor capabilities.

Well damn if it keeps stockholders happy cause profits go up then might as well increase price another $5k-$10k more then.

As long as people keep buying, don't assume Ford won't do it. Why wouldn't they?
Do you really think they care about the customer?:ROFLMAO:
We have proven we are gluttons for punishment. What other product would you go through with the mess in the reservation and price increase? the CEO and stockholders are laughing their asses off in our faces.

Who offers X/A Plan? The dealership or Ford? Curious because I have A plan eligibility (and X) but don’t know if it will be offered.
Offered by Ford, but dealers can opt in/out on x plan. But if Ford says a particular vehicle does not get plan pricing, then plan pricing is not available. Dealers can claim they're offering plan pricing in advertising, etc, but they aren't going through plan pricing or protocol, they are just offering to meet a price point. Plans require plan Registration and member proof etc be submitted to Ford, so no way to hijack the process.

With these continued price increases and them now shutting down orders, everyone with a 2021 in hand's deals look better and better and their resale values just keep increasing. Both will make the existing 2021s retain their value and hold their resale prices high for the foreseeable future.

Pricing Updates on B&P
Ford has confirmed that there are additional pricing increases for the MY22.5. These prices are reflected on the most recent build and price updates. Ford states that they will share additional information on how this impacts current reservation and unscheduled order holders ahead of order banks opening on March 9, 2022.

Customers who placed an order or reservation before March 19, 2021 fall under price protection and are not impacted by this.

I thought it was pretty clear how it impacts those of us waiting? Are we out the full increased price or not lol..
