Since I got my Bronco, I noticed that a number of Bronco owners give me thumbs up or beep when we meet on the road. Is there some kind of Bronco salute going on?

No. Why do so many people want the bronco to turn into a jeep? lol. no wave, no ducks. but that's just me.

I've had a few Jeeps flip me off. Reminds me of when I had my Mitsubishi Evo....every kid in a WRX would flip me off. The Evo was tuned to the hilt and more often than not I'd swing a u-turn and blow their doors off, flipping them off as I passed. Childish - yes. Enjoyed - absolutely!

The good news is now that you're in a Bronco, you can still make that U-turn even if there's a cement median!

My wife waves at every single Bronco of any type. She just really likes Broncos

I will wave if I see a rig that is obvious someone put a lot of time and effort into - even if it’s not a Bronco, and even if I don’t personally care for what they did

As a motorcycle rider, and Bronco driver, see too many distracted electronic device operators out there for comfort. Next upgrade is the Loud-A$$ horn, like I had in the truck, to wake-up the texters when signal lights go green & they're still screen driving vs. vehicle driving. >.<
