Hello everyone,,first week in the outerbanks 2.3,,, I am attempting to get the best fuel mileage and I see every time I start the bronco I have to select the eco leaf selection manually every time ..I’m just not quick enough to push the yes button on the steering column every time. Is this normal..

Yes it’s normal. As a fellow Outer Banks 2.3 owner, I don’t think Eco does anything mpg wise and is less fun. Don’t bother

It’s normal and completely frustrating that a vehicle in this day and age can’t remember and automatically go to the mode it was in when shut off without asking about it.

I agree ecp is boring, but I have noticed an improved MPG with it. Normally averaged 20ish MPG in normal. Eco mode with start stop on, last two tanks were 25.5 and 23.5

Agreed, it does make a difference, both city and highway. I stopped using it in the city though, my mileage is just slightly less awful and I'm more likely to stall on hills. Highway cruising I'll take the extra mile or two all day.
