Hey Guys,

This is my first post.

I am looking to buy a Bronco for everyday driving and off road. I want to get the Sasquatch Package (I will not be doing hard core rock crawling). What trim level do you think give the most bang for the buck without leaving comfort out. The top trims are too expensive, so I need some help.

Thanks,

Geoff

I dont think you can order one anymore, at least not till the '23 models are out.

define what 'comfort' means to you personally?

What features do you want as far as materials, driver aids, and creature comforts?

Yeah, no more orders accepted this year. But if you’re willing to wait at least a year, you can tell your dealer what you want now and they MAY enter it as an order when the ‘23 order banks open.

Drex,

Good question.
a) Comfortable seat and easy to clean
b) LED lights
c) 360 degree camera
d) Hard top sound deadening
e) Heated seats
f) Sasquatch Package

Also, do you recommend the 2.3 or 2.7 engine?

Thanks,

Geoff

it depends if Ford ships out the proper modules/chips to run said features or not lol It's speculation, but just because you ordered it one way, doesn't mean it'll end up that way on delivery. But who knows. Sounds like you need to start with at least the Outer Banks. That's the lowest you can go to get the High Package I think. For me, I live at a higher elevation so the 2.7 was a no-brainer. If you want all the features you're asking for, you might need the Badlands with the High Package. That way you get the Marine grade seats and washout floor.

You're not getting the 360 degree camera w/o the high package. That means going with an OBX minimum.

All trims have LED headlights.

Easiest to clean seats are probably MGV.

Sound deadening can be had on any trim with a MIC.

Heated seats will require mid package which means a Big Bend at minimum.

I'm personally going 2.3 because manual was a must for me.

The moral of the story is if you're looking to avoid the higher trims you need to have a serious think about what you absolutely need and find a compromise in a lower trim.

BL 2.3 manual high package MIC MGV non-squatch for the win. Upgrade to 35's when the 33's wear out. A MY21 was under 50k, not sure what a MY23 will cost.

Every one has a different answer for that. What do you like from other vehicles you have owned or driven? What are your wants and non negotiable features?

Sounds like you'll have to make some concessions if you're attempting to avoid the higher cost trims. The only option currently with the options you specified is Badlands with the high package, MIC, and SAS- which is also one of the most expensive builds.

But, it would offer the wash-out interior, MGV Seats, 360 Cameras, heated seats, etc.

Ford has so many constraints in regard to what options you can get with which model it can be very frustrating and lead to increased costs due to how the options are offered. I wanted a rather basic build, but ended up over 56K after selecting the options that were important to the wife and myself.

Maybe the 2023 orders will open up more ala-cart options?

Big Bend with Lux interior package may work well. Even though you can’t place an order yet you can still build one out on Ford.com. Try building out the Big Bend and see how it suits you

Big Bend with Lux interior package
You can't even get the high package on a BB, let alone the lux package. Besides, the wants he listed are available on the high, no need for lux
