New Bronco owner, just received the offer for Bronco off rodeo. I didn’t see anyone saying it was a waste of time; I’m new to off roasting so it seems like a great opportunity. I’m in CA so NV is closest but Moab seems like it would be the most amazing. Feedback from someone that’s done multiple? Is it less about the location and more about the training?

From what I've gathered, Moab is the best of the lot, I went to Texas with my son, it was an enjoyable day. Mostly what you get out of it, is how to use all the features on your Bronco and seeing what it's capable of. We got maybe 3 hours on the trail, that's the downside.

We went to Moab and had a good experience but really it is more about learning the features and capabilities of the Bronco then the terrain/location…but of course there is much more off road “adventure” available in & around Moab than other locations…

We live in northern California and the only one we considered was the one in Moab. Had a great time. Girlfriend had never really driven offroad so I signed her up as the primary driver. I didn't get any time behind the wheel on trails until after the class.

If you decide to go to Moab, you will likely need to book more hotel dates then you think. Lots to do on trails, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, etc.

Drove to Moab from CenCal - totally worth the trip. Amazing experience

I’ve not heard anyone say anything bad about the NV one, but the scenery in Utah was something else.

Of course the best mountains are here in CA - but it was a great trip

Been to all of the locations except the newest Tennessee location. Frankly they're all fantastic, don't think there is a bad location.

Personally, if this is just a 2-3 day "turn and burn" sorta trip, I would do Vegas.

But Moab is obviously the most iconic off-roading destination. And if you are an outdoorsy kinda person you can easily plan an awesome camping/fishing/hiking/sight-seeing vacation in parts of Utah and Colorado while including the Off-Roadeo as part of that vacation.

I did Vegas last year, it was a great time! Learned a lot of things that the Bronco can do.

Did Moab and it was so good. Really enjoyed it and was able to knock two additional national parks off the list too. I’d recommend renting a UTV or getting a guided UTV tour to do some of the trails you might not want to take your new Bronco on.

Mt. Potosi in Vegas was great. Coming from San Diego it was the obvious choice for us. We stayed at the Red Rock Casino (recommended by Off-Roadeo) and it was awesome. Lots of outdoorsy things to do around as well.

The wife and I did Tennessee last November in the rain.
We had about six hours of trail time…….. GREAT FUN!

I’ve only done Moab in Sept of ‘24, and used it to launch a 3-wk trip off-road/cycling trip in the west.

What I underestimated was how valuable it was to spend at least a few extra days on the trails right afterward to practice and lock in all the new things you just learned. Our trail guide’s voice was fresh in our heads over the next several days as we did things on our own and gained confidence. Things don’t stay fresh in my head as long as they used to!

I don’t know about Vegas, but Moab allows plenty of options to extend your trip a few days to practice.

And if you do it in July or August, you can combine it with ‘off-roasting’😉😂

If I were in the Lesser 48 and driving, Moab would have been my choice. Because, well, Moab.
Since we were flying we did Nevada last month (free guest) and it was a blast! I can't speak for the other locations, but our trail guide who has done all of them said Nevada was the most technical if that's what you're looking for. From rocks to crazy descents to speed runs. And its on private land. Spent much of the day in 4L on 3 wheels.
Easily 5-6hrs behind the wheel with very little waiting around. And not bad scenery.
No matter where you go, just go...

I agree it's not a waste of time as you will learn a lot of the features about the truck. I would guess Moab would be the most expensive for most to attend when you add up lodging and transportation, but Moab has a lot to offer outside the Off rodeo. I went to Nevada & it was pretty good. I've been to Moab a number of times previously & didn't see the need to spend the extra coin.
Personally taking a guest is way over priced and lacking for them. You would be better off taking them on a real trail with other enthusiast. YMMV 🤠 .
