New Bronco owner, just received the offer for Bronco off rodeo. I didn’t see anyone saying it was a waste of time; I’m new to off roasting so it seems like a great opportunity. I’m in CA so NV is closest but Moab seems like it would be the most amazing. Feedback from someone that’s done multiple? Is it less about the location and more about the training?
As a Bronco Raptor owner I did NV for their Raptor specific Off Rodeo. It was great. Loved all of it… but since it’s for the Raptor you spend a lot of time getting to and from the high track they designed for the Raptor. Dont get me wrong, it was a blast. But, as a newbie off-roader myself, my only wish was that we had done more slow speed rock climbing to get more comfortable with the different GOAT modes. They do a few hours early but then it’s off for an hour long drive to the track. I’m considering going half day in Moab to get more rock climbing experience and I hear from friends that have done , that’s it’s great.
they do an all day off roadeo rock climbing in Vegas if you don’t own a Raptor too. So you have both to choose from depending on how far you want to drive to get there

100% take advantage of this. It was an absolute blast. I went in Austin because we live in Texas but if you have the means to travel, looks at some of the other Off Roadeo locations.

I'm in Phoenix. Both Nevada and Moab are a day's drive. I'm going to Nevada because the terrain there is closest to the kind of terrain I expect to be driving on.

I'd probably pick Moab for scenery.

I just attended the Raptor one in the Mojave this summer. Loved every minute of it. Links to two videos I published below. You get a better understanding of functionality and capability. Really fun. .

Several of us have done the new Tennessee, it’s a great trip too. We had 7 hours of trail time, so a lot can depend on your guide. Do it!

I've been offroad driving since I was a teenager (and that was a VERY long time ago). And I still enjoyed the Bronco Off Rodeo when I went. It's not just for noobs.

I'd never even so much as SAT in a 6G Bronco before attending the event (I ordered my Bronco online and had to wait a year to get it). So for me it was informative just to learn about all the features Bronco had plus, I got to drive a Bronco for the first time.

I found the instructors to be knowledgeable and the other folks in the group with me were all pretty cool and fun to get to know. It was a real social event.

Moab is where the majority of folks want to go but I'd already done Moab EJS half dozen times over the years. So I attended the Vegas event.

If you've got the time and can make it happen, attend. Moab is beautiful, so a good choice if you've never been. But there is way more to the event than just the scenery. So pick whatever location works best for you and just do it.

You'll have a good time and learn something. Regardless of your current level of experience.

Mt. Potosi in Vegas was great. Coming from San Diego it was the obvious choice for us. We stayed at the Red Rock Casino (recommended by Off-Roadeo) and it was awesome. Lots of outdoorsy things to do around as well.

Along the way I like to have fun and I do it at a casino like https://yabby-casino.co.com/ where I spin slots for hours on end.
It’s awesome when a trip like that combines picking up a vehicle with a little getaway. Did you get a chance to explore any of the trails or outdoor spots around Red Rock? It’s such a beautiful area!

We did some sight seeing and spent a good amount of time doing the Red Canyon scenic drive. Stopped at a few spots along the way and did some of the hikes. Unfortunately, I hadn’t taken ownership of my Bronco when we did the Off-Roadeo and so we didn’t venture out into the wild lol. It is a beautiful area indeed and definitely on my list of places to go back to. It’s only 4-5 hour drive from SoCal where I live.
