Ford Bronco Wins 2026 Residual Value Award

"For quite a while now, the Ford Bronco has been a regular on the list of Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Award winners, an accolade bestowed upon the vehicles that are projected to retain the highest percentage of their original MSRP over the first five years of ownership. The Bronco landed in the top 10 of that particular list 2023, 2024, and 2025, in fact. Now, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco is being recognized for the very same reason once again, albeit, from a different organization."

If you want a vehicle to be an investment you need to go rare. My 13 gt500 convertible w 10,000 miles is worth what I paid for it last time I checked. I’ve enjoyed it for 13 years and it will cost me $0 except for inflation loss

buy a raptor , don’t drive it.- 0 miles. And maybe in 15-20 years you can sell it for what you paid :)

broncos aren’t special. You’re going to lose most of its value. If that bugs you? Buy used from now on

What do you think the current value is on it and what is the source of that estimate?

10,000 miles, 13 years; enjoyed what? Possessing it or looking at it? Unless you're a Jay Leno, vehicles are pretty poor "collectables" due to storage and maintenence.

Sometimes what brings joy just doesn't make any sense no matter how we try to rationalize it.

I buy them and drive ‘em until they die. Or until I can find a good deal on something else.
I tend to by orphan Fords.

Got my 17’ F250 that was order with a weird combination of option for way less than what others were going for at the dealer.

My ‘24 Wildtrak had sat in the lot for almost a year. 25s where coming on to the lot and they wanted to move it. Got it for 20,000 under MSRP.

My 2001 Focus was traded back to the dealer with 318,316 miles. It was my daily driver and I did a lot of miles every week. It was easier to that it then try and sell it.

I drove an 89 Grand Am for 550,000 miles, that’s when the odo broke, until it just cost too much to maintain.

I’d still have my ‘94 Flareside 5.0 if a red light runner hadn’t totaled it. We walked away.

I will sell a used vehicle before I trade it to the dealer in most cases.

Drive it. Used it for what it’s intended. If you are worried about resale value, go to an investment car auction and spent your money there.

A one of three 1966 Ford GT40, no Gurney bump, recently sold for 12 million plus. But then again if you have 12 million to spend you don’t worry about your daily driver’s resale value.

I’ve got a couple of special cars. I drive them 1000 a year each. I don’t really go anywhere anymore as I get older. It’s a stretch to even drive them 1000 miles a year.
When I bought them my goal was to break even in 20 years and drive them for free. As ford has increased their “special “ mustang prices to $120,000 and hasn’t made a convertible version since 2014 of them. It’s made the gt500 go back up in value quicker. I think I might even make profit on it when I do sell it. But when accounting for inflation I doubt I will

Agreed your enjoyment is priceless, inflation and storage costs are just background noise. (y)

Planning to drive mine until it falls apart, so I'm not really concerned with resale. Cars aren't investments, for the most part.

Ackshually, we paid in '23 dollars which was worth more than today. According to my slide ruler, you owe me $3.50.

Anyway, what's unreal is how people invested in NFTs thinking that infinite variations of Bored Ape would go up in value.
