I’m just looking forward to the day when I can stop refreshing the tracker every 15 minutes. 😀

@tock13 I did chat with ford customer service last Friday and they said it was being “prepared for shipping” with a eta of 8/31-9/6. I expected after the weekend that I would have a shipping email but no. So I figured I’ll check with them Monday and at least try to be patient 🤣 realistically I didn’t expect to get it until next year but now that it’s so close yet so far away it makes it harder!! May the ford fairies be nice to everyone at 4am and we wake up the lots of emails tomorrow!!

For those that are still “In Production”… there are several possible causes here.

Switching to Built only happens when a shipping plan is formed. Maybe there aren’t enough to go to your area yet. Maybe a regional rail yard is backed up with a trucker shortage. Maybe th rail line is booked up for something else.

Switching to Built requires quality controls to be complete. Hard tops. Lack of chips. Car batteries are one that Ford recently overcame. Bad sets of WT steering racks. Bad Sas springs. All of these have happened in the past. Ford delayed shipment of F150s because they ran out of blue Ford emblems.

Switching to Built requires that whatever your build needs once it’s rolled through the end of the assembly line is now second priority to whatever is currently on the line. This is likely the most frustrating part. But nothing stops the line. First in First out means nothing here.

1 week is frustrating. I get it. I’ve lived it. Could Ford do a better job with communication, of course. But they won’t. No one knows anything. No one talks about what goes at MAP. Your dealers have minimal information. The regional reps are likely in the dark too. Ford Marketing and Chat can only see what’s in Vehicle Visibility with a primary and secondary status.

Expected delivery dates are generated when it enters the assembly line. They won’t change until it’s shipped. If you are stuck in Production but have a delivery date of this weekend, it’s likely not happening. But. There are several instances of Broncos not tripping anything. In the system and randomly showing up unannounced. This is mostly with Convoy builds but anything is possible.

If reading this hasn’t given any help at all and you’re still mashing your knuckles and grinding your teeth, I’d advise you to go read a few pages from the following threads to see how hot Hell truly is…

I get what you’re saying but they can and should fix the lack of communication. Builds being held now for a part or issue could be delayed further by a UAW strike.

Without a doubt they should. Even just a nugget of info on what part it is would likely calm the masses. But unfortunately, Ford’slegal team probably has taught them to do nothing and say even less. You can try the @Ford Motor Company account, but I’m convinced that it’s a bot programmed to ask for your VIN and email and say they would be glad to look into it. I resorted to pestering Ford execs on Twitter and Instagram. I’m not ashamed of some of what I said, but not super proud either.

UAW strike- that’s a legit concern. I’ll give you that. But a last second deal will come through. UPS. CSX. UAW will hopefully be resolved too. Now if the truckers strike, Heaven help us all!!!

Reading several a build delays makes me feel disappointed. We had a good thing going on our build week, tracking along, now these delays. Hope everyone gets delivered sooner rather than later. Even had a dealership stable mate in @ConstBroncoNC and now that’s messed up.

My Bronc is on a rail car in somewhere south West VA. Hoping it will bein NC the weekend and on a truck to the dealer next week.
