Bronco Build Week 1/29/2024

Mine spent the 24 hours behind the belly dancer joint in Decatur then hit St Louis and looks like they are still trying to figure out how to get it to the other side of St Louis to Wentzville, off the rail car, on a truck a few hours away to me. Couldn't hold out any longer, offer is accepted and Carvana gets my Badlands Bronco trade in tomorrow before the used market tanks anymore in the hold up. Would have rather let the dealer take it in on trade but I can't hold out any longer and they won't give me trade in numbers on a Bronco we truly have no idea how long will get here judging from how long it took the Edge they got in today to get put on a truck and brought to them a few hours away. Longer than the rest of the enire preproduction, build and transport process altogether basically. Judging from that Edge and from the looks of the updates its a bleak outlook for us anytime soon.

Picked up my Bronco last Friday on 2/16. Been enjoying it ever since haha. I love it. Can't wait for my first trail after the rain lets up here in SoCal.

Mine hit this area and just went ghost and never made it on a truck to come my way. Glad I went ahead and let Carvana get my trade in Bronco yesterday, this hold up in Wentzville would have cost me another couple grand trade in value drop. Current ETA at the dealership with their visibility report is showing it could be another few weeks before it is put on a truck in Wentzville and brought to us a few hours away.

My wife is definitely getting edgy at this point I don't blame her though; it was probably awkward for her having the Carvana truck picking up our green Badlands in front of the house, but we couldn't wait any longer while ours sat in Wentzville. Last time, our Carvana and the dealership's market value offer on the current Badlands refreshed, we lost thousands, and it was going to refresh again today with Carvana, so it literally had to go like yesterday. And me? I am all about the overall cost to own for every yearly swap for my wife's daily/our family ride. Of course, the dealership cannot speculate when the Bronco will leave Wentzville on a truck, so they naturally do not want to lock in on any numbers yet.

Am I worried about any of this market stuff buying a new Bronco? No, not really. We did very well overall cost-to-own wise on all three of our last new Ford purchases in the past few years. Each one has been flawless other than simple recalls and a couple of backup cameras under warranty, no tires on anything, and Ford Pass points from purchase and service have knocked out most of the service cost.

Oh wow, VINView had some action on the Bronco tonight. It appears to have hopped on I-70 tonight out of Wentzville earlier headed this way

My wife is absolutely thrilled, Ford and the union folks rolled it out perfect all the way around

Dealer called and said it should be on their lot anytime between the 28th and March 4th. I already told my boss that I might take the day off when it comes in. He said he wouldn't blame me if I did

It came in last night!! The dealership called me when the truck got there and I went right in, kept them after closing. Super excited! Almost called out sick, lol. Also can confirm that Badlands gets the stitched leather dash. Looks really nice!

I ordered it November 4th and received it February 29th.

Waiting at the mod shop That being said I knew the holdup risks adding the PPF, side graphics and Tow when I added them.

How do you get this info? I am getting roof rails and tow package. Blend date was March 1. Tracker still shows “in production”. I got a delay email today but Ford chat says it’s “produced” and delivery date of March 18
