Can anyone explain the price protection plan for me? I placed a Bronco Badlands back in Aug 2021. I received a copy of my order on 1/18/22 indicating it was now a 2022 model and was priced at $61,835. Today is the build date and this morning II received my MSRP sticker sheet and it lists the vehicle at $66,640. I thought Ford was honoring 2021 order prices. Is that true or not?

The MSRP sticker will always reflect the current price, regardless of what you're paying for it.

Here’s one for you…. I ordered a BL, nonSAS, 4dr, SoftTop, Mid on 3/27 that is on a train now, so I should see it in a week or so. MSRP $53,320. I stop by the dealers to meet with my salesperson and go over the paperwork to be sure everything is all set. He says he has good news, the new price is $51,000 …Ford offered me a $2,000+ discount. He showed me the original order that they placed(it was a dealer allocation) and it show’s it as a 2022 on paper -it’s a 2023 Based on all the documentation. So something kicked in …either Price Protection(which I shouldn’t have as a 3/27 order) or the rebate Ford was offering to prior order holders to change to a non-restricted build. Either way, I’m a lucky SOB so no complaints. I just thought it was odd! Anyone else seen this?

@RagnarKon any thoughts???

When I got my late 2022 2Dr Base the window-sticker showed the current price as of Nov. 2022 ($35,970 which included shipping, V6, auto, switches, floor mats, etc... but not taxes). But since I ordered mine in October 2021... I got the October 2021 pricing.

I didn't have to beg or negotiate anything... they just looked at what the price was on the initial order, and that is what I got it for.
