Most of us have come to realize there’s no great value in upgrading from MGV to leather when it comes to the Badlands trim. With the 2dr leather upgrade, best I can tell, for $2,195 you get manual operated leather seats and perhaps carpet? With the 4dr you Do a little better with the addition of “powered” leather seats.
When it comes to the Bronco Sport and you add the leather option in the Build and Price tool you are upgraded to what’s called the “Badlands Package” for $2595. That $2595 package gives you powered leather seats, plus the near equivalent of the Lux package (B&O 10 speaker sound system, heated leather wrapped steering wheel, remote start, reverse sensing, wireless charging, auto dimming mirror, etc.), plus they throw in a powered moonroof.
How many of us would opt for the leather option on our full sized Bronco if it offered the equivalent of the Bronco Sport Badlands Package? I certainly would.

Not me, heck i’d gladly delete the leather seats and carpet out of my first edition to get the badlands marine grade vinyl and wash out flooring.
Yeah, I’m a fan of The MGV as well, but that’s not the real question. The question for you as an FE reservation holder is; would you swap your leather seats and carpet for vinyl, and go from your included Lux package to the standard package just to save $2595? That’s the equivalent of the comparison I was drawing between the Badlands Bronco and Badlands Sport. Because if your answer is yes, then you can save about $10k by going from an FE to a stock badlands and get MGV and washout floors.
