Just looked under the hood of my sons 2022 Bronco and what a suprise--Never gave up on a car repair until now. All my life I fixed my own vehicles and now that I am 81, I slowed down. His AC would work one day and not the next--disconnect the battery and it may work or not. Did my research and could be clutch not engaging due to lo pressure defective switch or lo refrigerant. I can't even find the compressor with all the pipes, wire and hoses, let alone the lo pressure switch, so I was changing tactics and measure the refrigerant pressure with my gauges (I am not a AC guy but do have gauges). Could not even find the lo/high preesure connections. Any one can take a photo of the location of the compressor so I can see if the clutch is engaging and the location of lo pressure switch and hi and lo pressure ports to check pressure?? Thanks in advance

You can follow both lines down to the compressor. Pressure transducer will be at the bottom of the high side line.

The only switch is the pressure transducer, which is on the high side line right by the compressor. You can see it in that second picture I posted above.

I don't mean to be a PIA, but the compressor is on the passenger side, real low and you diagram show show the hi side "on the passenger side", . Is the pressure transducer within the black circle which is on the drivers side----thanks

In the direct message you sent me, you said it was a 2.7

On a 2.7, everything is on the drivers side, not the passengers side.
I never said anything was on the passenger side.

The pressure transducer is on the high side line, right by the compressor.

Before you dig in, confirm there's no check engine light indicating a defective ambient air temperature sensor. When mine went out I ignored it for a while thinking it only affected the displayed temperature in the cluster, but it also affected the A/C and made it blow hot. I have no idea why, but others have reported the same.

BeachTiger, thanks for that. One of the first things we checked. Showed ambient temp on the cluster of 93 degrees and bronco was parked in the sun
