Bronco at highway speeds?

No sane person drives on I-95 without fear.

I'm never scared of I-95.

Maryland drivers, however, are a completely different story. In all of the states I've driven in only Oklahoma has worse drivers than Maryland.

Test drive a new 4Runner. Will be the most similar to the Bronco.

With an Independent front suspension the Bronco will handle far better than Wrangler's solid front axel. And I drove my 2016 Rubicon with a 3 inch lift on 35s on I-95 at high speeds without fear.

Not sure if any Jeep guys can weigh in, but if I were to remove just the front section of the roof and leave the rear attached - kind of like a Targa I suppose - would the wind and noise in the cabin be bearable at some reasonable speed e.g. 70 mph? Top completely off around town is fine, but with the nephews in the back (6 and 2) along with the dog... I am not sure no top for them is ideal.

It's loud but tolerable. I wouldn't want to run that way for several hours at highway speeds.

Drives like a truck. A new truck but a truck. Sas package handles surprisingly well. The only thing that bothers me is the wind noise over 80 and that’s me just being an asshole.

When I drive my FSB on I-101 north of Santa Barbara, my wife always yells at me once I reach 80 MPH (and it's a heavy vehicle). Last weekend we drove the 2-door OBX up that route (much lighter and shorter WB), and I hit 85 a few times without hearing a peep from her. So, I'd say it's just fine at highway speeds (outside of the wind noise coming from the tailgate).

Drove our 2-door Black Diamond with Sasquatch home last week. Drove it about 800 miles on Interstate 70. Mountains and great plains wind were included.

I drove 70-71 mph whenever the speed limit was 75. Passing, got to 83 once. The truck feels stable on the highway even in strong cross wind. In Colorado, we had to panic brake for a deer and other than nose dive it felt stable.

The main difference I noted from my F150 is that Bronco changes lanes much quicker. Steering is extremely predictable, but it is fast. Without hands it tracks a straight line. A driver that is half way sensible that they are driving a 4x4 trail vehicle with short wheelbase and tall tires will enjoy 70 mph. BUT the Black Diamond with zero roof panel lining is a little noisy.

Yep...I'm on the highway all the time...I can do 85mpg and it's Great!!! My 2015 Jeep Rubicon made me sweat over 70 and I'm talking white knuckle two hands on the wheel. Bronco's are much more street friendly in my opinion...I've had 2 Jeeps and there is no comparison. I love my Bronco Badlands Sasquatch!!!
