Hello. So this evening on way home from work in my 2021 2.3 manual while cruising at roughly 100kph on pavement the front brakes locked up on two different occasions without engaging the brakes. On the second instance the brakes remained on and would not disengage resulting in me coming to a very uncomfortable stop in middle of the road. I had to shut truck off and start twice for them to disengage. Not sure what this was but this i could only imagine this is a sensor or ecm issue? My foot was on the throttle both times this happened and after i came to a stop on second time i tried to pull forward and brakes were still locked and truck stalled which notified me it was not my front differential locking up or some other massive failure that caused the truck to stop initially like i had thought was happening. After the brakes had disengaged the truck rolled ahead i felt the abs kick a second then returned to normal. I drove it cautiously another 2km home and it drove normal. No codes or lights or indicators came on during or after this. I am assuming my vehicle will be down for at least a month while i wait for an appointment but has anything like this happened to anyone else? Just had truck inspected at dealership where its been serviced since new.
