Im getting a brake warning light, the brakes seem fine, just the warning. I will say this has occurred at least 6 times with a month long gap between instances. The one common factor is a very hot day with the Bronco sitting in direct sunlight for the hottest part of the day. It never happens at night or early in the morning. Ive seen the other threads on here but they seem to have a brake failure associated and the vehicle being operated at the time, my instance doesnt. Its a first start up on a hot day.

Perhaps a code is stored that provides more details?
OBD scanners are reasonable.

2.3L or 2.7L??

If 2.3L, perhaps SSM 50472 and Vacuum Line MB3Z-2420-K

Its the 2.7, Ive seen the thread about the "vacuum line in the 2.3," and the symptoms arent the same, I have no difference in brake pedal pressure or a loss in ability to brake. I'm thinking it has something to do with the heat and a sensor. Thought other might have encountered this particular issue, and wanted to be able to relate it to the mechanic.

Ok, so Im not the only one, lol. Yeah I think there was an update just before this happened a month or so ago. Drove it yesterday and no warning, difference was early morning and about 30 degrees cooler. It seems when its around 100 out and been sitting in the sun this warning occurs.
