I have seen some older posts about this but it looks to be specific to the 2.3 Broncos. Curious if anyone with a 2.7 has seen this or knows anything about it.

2023 4DR BD non-squatch 2.7 Auto 18k
Got in it last night after it ran a minute or two from remote start. Hit the start button and immediately had the check brake system warning message and the red brake warning light appear. The parking brake was not on, but I engaged/disengaged it; no changes. I turned it off and started again, but the message still came up. The pedals felt ok, so I engaged drive and moved forward and back a few feet with the brakes appearing to work fine. Engaged drive and pulled out of my driveway and the lights turned off after about 20 feet. Did not come back on again and seemed ok driving, albeit only about 2,000 feet on a quick errand.

Hi there! I can look into your bronco's error message concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your bronco's VIN?

This sounds crazy, but I'm going to hold off on accepting help. I've done that once before and it didn't result in any changes. Then a couple months later I went to a different dealership to try and have them check that other issue and they called me the next day refusing to ever work on my vehicle, including basic maintenance. They didn't want to "get involved" with my Bronco. I can only guess my record shows Ford contacted the other dealership and they black listed me because of it. I literally never had been to that dealership before and didn't even really talk to anyone before they told me they wouldn't even do an oil change the next day.

Brake light came back on today and didn't turn off this time so I made an appointment next week.

That's sad, isn't it?

Ended up being a "level sensor". Will update if things change, but so far so good.

Brake Warning light came and went on our 2023 (built June 2023) OBX 2.7TT today. About to turn 5000 miles. Wife was driving and called to tell me what happened. 1 mile from our house after a cold start on 75 degree day the Brake warning light came on. I had her turn if off, open driver door, close door then restart. She repeated this process a second time and the light went away. Should there be a stored code? I'm concerned this is a safety issue brewing. I'll gladly take to the dealer if there's something they can diagnose.

Mine had a code stored.

It actually came back on for me again a week ago. I'm sure for oil and recalls, so I'll have them check it again.

Update 1 of what will likely be 2 or 3:
Dropped it at dealer "no codes detected". They test drove it for 40 miles, mixed use, and light wouldn't come back on. Got lots of compliments on the 2 tone vinyl, but no resolution yet on this brake warning light.

Hey, Austin. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to see how I can assist you with this brake light concern.
