Hello Everyone!

So yesterday my father and I went to my local 4x4 store to discuss and possibly purchase the Borla Atak Exhaust for our 2 Wildtrak. But when we got there the employee gave is "opinion" and said that the Atak was too loud for everyday use and he recommended the S-Type.

For some context, I live in a residential suburb and I have to often be on call for my job throughout the night, a part of me feels I would be PIA for my neighbors but at the same time its MY car and I would like something that sounds aggressive.

Anyone out there have the Borla Atak on their rig,
If so, what do you think of it?
Do you like it?
Do you think its too loud for everyday use?

Same question for those with the S-Type.

Thank you in advance!

I had the Atak on my 2.7 and it was definitely not too loud. It does make it louder than stock but my opinion is it no way too loud for everyday use. Go to Borlas website and you can watch comparison vids of all their muffler options on the broncos as well as stock. Honestly, it’s only louder on start up and heavy acceleration. Definitely no droning but you can tell a slight difference on interior.

I have Borla Touring. Start up is loud. It is also very loud when I step on it.
It is slighly louder than stock under normal driving but no sound different when coasting. Also no drone.

imo it is the best for daily. In Borla's video you can hear the difference between the three, but you can't really tell how loud it can get. I'd say you really need to hear it in person to know what you are getting into. Exhuast is typically not returnable once installed. I made the mistake once.

I have the S-Type and feel like it’s just right / the sweet spot.

I have the Borla Atak exhaust on my ‘22 Badlands Sasquatch, I love the beefy sound. Not too loud in my opinion, many favorable comments from fellow Bronco owners.

I just installed mine this last weekend, idle sounds nice, cruising can hardly tell its there but when you give her a kick she barks and everyone knows.
