Unless it has 8 cylinders the exhausts for the bronco all sound bad in my honest opinion like Honda civic fart can bad
This.
I get that it's subjective but I have to bite my tongue when people say that their bronco sounds "good".
No, no it doesn't.

Yes!
But what I can’t understand is how a Subaru aftermarket exhaust can sound beefy like a v8 and the aftermarket bronco exhausts sounds like nails on a chalkboard board?

Totally different engine design and firing order. They do sound pretty good.

Yup. Broncos are doing the same thing as Jeep guys. My neighbor put on a cat back and now his Rubicon sounds like a Toyota Supra.

If that’s the reason Subaru shoulda designed the bronco engine 😂 (joking) but not joking 🙃

Sound quality aside, yall can debate which one is better or worse.
Iam all for removing 30 + pounds of donkey weight from the rear of mine, went cat back straight pipe and can't believe how much room is there now ! Compressor would fit there easily.

Part of the reason I bought a Bronco was because it seemed like my Forester needed the whole dang engine lifted out anytime you needed to do service on it. Flat-4 is cool and all but it means more work/costs when it needs fixing or maintenance. Between that and the CVT, I wasn't interested in getting another.

Call me an idiot but I’d rather have those problems just so it could sound like a V8 with aftermarket exhaust 😂
