Has anybody tried the Black Oak spreader lights for ditch lighting. I know Spreader lights are for boats... but seems like these would work exceptionally well for ditch lights. True ditch lights should be a flood illuminating the sides of the road/path (I know my opinion). Most floods I see have about a 45 degree dispersion. These spreader lights have a horn design reflector that they claim is a 120 degree dispersion. At about 3200 lumens it seems like they might work really well illuminating everything on the sides.

You need to be the first! That looks to be the perfect ditch light in my opinion. Building a rear bumper this winter and the 2" flush mount option might just be my aux backup lights! Nice find...

Thanks!

Well I went ahead and got them. Seem really well built. very heavy. waiting on some bad ass mounts to mount them. Bronco goes in for PPF this week and will be missing through next week end so might be 2 weeks before I get them mounted.

If they work as well as I hope then yes, I was looking at the flush mounts for bumper lights as well.

I have black oaks on my tractor (not these) they are a very heavy duty design and have taken a serious beating and work great.
