Just trying to see how they compare with winter tires. Have never gone without winters.
Sorry, never used winter tires on anything let alone one of my trucks.

Guess it all depends on what you start out with and where you are driving.
Might be better in the city? Most of my commute is rural.

I don't know, as far as busting snow drifts and whatever a good set of AT's has rarely let me down. Only time I get stuck is when I get high centered and don't have enough wheels touching the ground. 🤷‍♂️

I don't think I have ever seen snow tires on a pickup around here.

I went Black Diamond SAS 2.7 2DR. I wanted a Wildtrak but just could not get past the lack of MGV interior for the guy in my picture and I simply do not like the leather interior although it has grown on me over time. A few things that made that decision hard:
1) No sound deadening
2) lack of 12" screen
3) no heated steering wheel option or
4)high end radio
5)no LED lights

In the end I figured, I really would prefer to upgrade to aftermarket amp and sub anyway and possibly new speakers. the 12" screen is a nice to have but I really don't need it. The smaller screen has all the same features. The LED lights I was like who reallly cares. Real men don't need heated steering wheels although I will admit they are nice. I continually had to remind myself that my favorite car ever is my beat up 84 cj7 and It has analog gauges, a wood steering wheel, the heat barely works, its loud as shit but its just cool. To each his own, I just could not justify like 7 grand more and not have the seats I want so it forced me into the BD. Was more about the principle than the cost. I figure with 7 grand I can do a lot to improve it. Then again I don't plan to rock crawl so sway bar did not matter to me. I still wonder if I made a mistake but I'm living with it for now.

What are thoughts on heading to a marina to get a general idea of what this MGV is supposed to feel like? Do you suspect that there are multiple grades or styles of it?

Can anyone explain why you can't get the Hard Top Sound Deadening Headliner with SAS? I'm baffled...
Ford hasn’t announced it yet, but Sasquatch package comes with a yeti fur headliner.

I’m psyched about our BD build. I decided early on that I don’t have a need for Sasquatch - plus, I don’t like the look of beadlock wheels. We’ll do a decent amount of off-road - but, nothing BD gear can’t handle.

Just recently decided the steelies look so much better than the aluminum option. Glad to save $1k there and decide later on on an aftermarket option. I know it’s rare - but, I love a good set of snows to swap on and off anyhow.

I’m also all about Black Shadow. It’s underestimated around here - but I think in the long run it’s gonna stand out.

Except that "No Yeti were harmed while making this product". Bet you didn't know that Yeti are like sheep, their fur needs to be trimmed often or they get too bushy. Winter really stinks for them right after their haircut though.

No doubt. I'm in the same boat. I know the stock tire setup will allow me to do the stuff i want to, so I'm passing on sasquach. It also helps to save over 4k on the build. I must say, it's gonna look awesome in black for you! We're still going a51 though.

I’ve seen a few people try to deny there is a “new” MIC hard top but looking at this I don’t see how you could argue. That is light grey and it looks really really bad with the black. I sincerely hope the top really comes darker then that.

It is much darker now. That was from one back in November of last year with some kind of unfinished top, so it doesn't represent anything that we will be getting for the MIC. I just think the rest of the Bronco looks great in that photo, so I keep looking at it.

There’s no denying the black on black looks good. I switched to carbon grey at the last minute because I was worried about getting a lot of trail scratches but BD in black with the MOD top would be killer.
