is that $46.8 with your Granger pricing? Did you get $1k or $2k below invoice?
$46.8k with Granger, 1k under invoice.

Not sure what I'm going to do about wheels. The call of the 'squatch is strong, but I've been resisting. I don't like the look of the wider fender flares, and potential lack of articulation.
My build is the exact same just with the 2.3...I was 2.7 originally until KOH Vids. I remember a lot of talk back in July that the smaller front axle of the BD wouldn’t perform well under stress with tires larger than 32”. The axle and suspension upgrade is what really pulls me toward Sasquatch. I would prefer 33” tires to 35s.

Ordered my Black Diamond today.
simple build:
2D
velocity blue
2.3L
7-spd
insulation
tow package
that‘s it.
Dealer said I’m 32 out of 31 initial allocation but likely at least 1 more with a lower number will drop out. Likely to get my Bronco by maybe October! Of course the actual date depends on so many things, but I am hoping.

I’ve been flip flopping on Sasquatch; it’s been consuming my thoughts for days. Now after watching more KOH vids, I’m thinking I don’t need the Squatch. I’ll save the money, grab some rims right off the bat, accessorize at will, and put larger tires on when the Grabbers wear out.

Almost my build. I went with:

2D
Black (edit 3/9/21)
2.3L
7-spd
Advanced 4x4
Insulation
Bimini top (traded that for the tow package I deleted from my initial build - I already have a vehicle I can tow with)

Dealer said 2D probably pushes my Bronco into MY '22, but we'll know later.

I have almost the four door version, gets formalized tomorrow with Granger:
4D
Carbonized Grey
2.3L
7M
Advanced 4x4
Insulation
MIC Top
Tow package

33's (summer only) and an M210 front will likely be added at some time, thousands less total than a Badlands without the ugly grill and lights 😉

I was going Race Red or Iconic Silver until the last minute. My daughter was persuasive with the carbonized grey.

Swaybar wasn't really a showstopper for me. Black Diamond made the most sense to me financially as a new off-roader. Especially with sasquatch. BD with squatch really seems to be the epitome of getting new off-roaders "going wild" - pricing out a BB with squatch and a lot of the extras came out a bit more than BD with squatch. Mid-package had everything I needed too, 8" screen is still getting the same tech features as the 12.

And who could pass up that MGV interior on the BD 🔥🔥

I was checking out a newer Toyota 4Runner that was where I work. I noticed the tire size- 265/70/17. NO BUENO. Pushing me to SQUATCH.

Understood. That's the decision all of us BD buyers have to make. I've settled on just knowing I'll need to size up on the tires. Wish there was a middle option from the factory, but I'm okay just creating the combination i want myself. I understand going squach for sure though!

Agreed. This is my thinking too. Upgrade the tire size when the factory option wears out. If I get the Sas package, I'm going BASE Bronco. Right now, I see family camping trips in my future, so BD fits my use with the MGV and off-road capabilities it does have. Will there be a time I'd like to have Sas? Probably, but 99% of the time it'll fit my needs to a T.

Granger pricing was only $2k difference between 4dr 2.7Base Sas and 4dr 2.7BD w/ mid package. I opted for the creature comforts. I'd only upgrade to the 33" tires on the Badlands anyway. I like that look the best.

Sounds a lot like where i am at. If i add squach to my BD build, it's over my budget, and ive already stretched it as is. Largest i want to go is 33 as well, and it should fit without a lift. I'll just go with the 2 inch ford performance lift down the line if i absolutely need to, but I'm going to learn how to do basic exploring with the stock setup and go from there.

Anyone have some decent Tire recommendations? I want to move up to at least a 33. The 32s just look a little small for the 4 door Black Diamond.

I am running Falken wildpeaks on my tacoma right now. They seem pretty solid, unless yall have something else to add to the wishlist.

i have found the 3 peak Goodrich KO2 to be a great all around AT tire. Especially in the winter.

I run Nitto Ridge Grappler 34s on my truck now. They come in 33s as well, I'll go that route when the factory tires wear out.
