Don't forget the non sas also has 1/2 " more suspension travel because the sas has travel limiters to keep the 35s from hitting the fender wells. And you get the 4.70s with the manual.

It is $2500...what folks don't notice is the price for automatic transmission goes to $0 on Badlands when Sasquatch is added.

Yeah, I wouldn't be thinking Sasquatch on any trim unless I was already going auto. If I were going with a stick, Badlands with the 33's would be my choice.

You get crappier tires with the Sasquatch than non-Sasquatch.
I am absolutely loving the stock Sasquatch tires- they're phenomenal in the snow, good in the dirt/sand, ride nicely for a daily driver, look good, work well in the rain - what don't you like about them?

As many have said depending on your usage. I bought Sasquatch on my Badlands wish I didn’t, $2500 for components I removed shortly.

I was debating doing a nonsas BL and finally bit the bullet. The BL on 33 is already quite a big vehicle and has 10 in or so ground clearance which is plenty for off roading. That and the MPG gains is free money. For 4k I do think it’s worth it from though to get 35s since it’s also gearing and that’s expensive to do aftermarket.

I think “worth it” is relative on what you’re using it for. Either way I plan to use my Bronco as mostly an overlander that can handle off road trails where range is more important than rock crawling ability. I’m under the assumption that there’s plenty of hard/tough trails a BL nonsas can handle and I’ll have PLENTY of fun regardless.

Not having a hardtop sucks though. But constraints forces us to cancel by 2024 without price protection. And I’m tired of waiting.

I mentioned just a different gear.
It’s not “just a different gear”, it’s a different gearing ratio that accounts properly for the added rolling mass so you always know your speed, etc. The tuning of the transmission and transfer case alone would cost you over $500 in most cases, then as others point out, wheels and tires together would be maybe $2K.

Your not getting SAS wouldn‘t hurt any of us. Besides, you can’t get it from Ford anymore anyway, so it’s moot.

Don’t be pissed about losing the hardtop, I was also when I made the change. Just like I was pissed when I went from 2 to 4 doors. But I’m not after owning it. The soft beats the MIC, IMO.

It's $2,495 you should update first post so people don't think bad information. I bet a gear sway will cost close to that at dealership.

Many things come into play on this I knew I was going bigger so I wanted wider finders, Gave me Better wheels (offset) being I wanted to keep stock and I also knew it had more built in lift. I knew the stoppers in the shocks would help me also. All I did about lift was 1 3/8s front and 1in rear to fit 38s with no rub Sasquatch package helped that happen and gave me gears that I needed also.

Now if you are a 33s guy and don't want bigger or you are the guy going to add aftermarket lift and wheels well its a different story.

Adding Sasquatch to my 2022 Badlands was just under $2,500. I chose it because that's what I wanted...plus, I only paid invoice so I was still way ahead after all was said and done. After a year of ownership, I couldn't be happier.

35s with beadlock capability and 4.7 gears for auto for only $2500 is a great deal. But if you’re like me it’s a harder pill to swallow. I got SAS and immediately swapped out my 35s for 37s including suspension on my ADM bronco. I have my reservation bronco scheduled finally. Thought about removing SAS but I needed the gearing. I figured it would be slightly cheaper than $2500 maybe for gears, but still not factory warrantied so I kept it. Plus resell with Sasquatch on the VIN/sticker of course which matters to me because I usually sell vehicles once every 1.5 years

What are you really getting for $4k adding SAS to a Badlands?
BL has front/rear lockers, ADV 4x4, rims, tires, gears, shocks and springs. It’s not like you get them with SAS. You get a slightly different rim, tire size, slightly different shock/spring and a slightly different gear. What makes it $4k more?
I am quite surprised that you are the first person to ask this. It’s certainly never been debated on this forum before. Much appreciated. :)
