It’s my understanding that only BL and the FA have the upgraded suspension.

Here's a pic of the non sas BD in the MAP
Side pic BD.webp
Ughhh. Why can they never get a full side shot!! That being said from what we can see looks pretty good.

Also don’t love those wheels, but I haven’t found anything aftermarket that I necessarily love either. My current plan is get BD with the steelies and upgrade to 33s and aftermarket wheels. However those wheels look decent and you get all 5 for $995. That might be a bargain instead of spending $1,200-1,500 on aftermarket wheels.

Ox Lockers have a manual option. It uses a cable actuator. I thought I'd seen a version that used a key in the diff cover to actuate the locker, but a quick look at their website didn't show it.

I'm think I'm going to stick with black diamond because I like the seats and floor better on BD, but I noticed this yesterday too. And quite disappointed the signature lights aren't available on BD.
I agree. Why aren’t the signature lights, if they are truly a signature piece of the truck, available on ALL MODELS? And why Big Bend and not Black Diamond when BD is supposed to be a model above? Is FORD really listening...each model step up should at least have all the previous model option available!

I want something that is more durable... that’s all. Whichever engine will cost me less in repairs in the long run is what I want.... sounds like maybe the 2.7? But this sounds like added complication to the engine?
It's not so complicated that it would be unreliable. Direct injection has been around for quite awhile and I don't really ever see them going bad, both engines are good motors you can service motors that have carbon build up and bring the power back, the 2.3 just doesn't have redundancy to protect the motor from neglect. but yes the 2.7 has the higher likelihood to last longer but your always going to play the metal lottery. the best engineered engine can still blow up in the first 1000 miles. Entropy is a bitch.

Can you put 33's on the BD? BB?

I really want 33's so was thinking BL now. But it's like $7k more than my BB build, but has everything I'd need. So aftermarket 33's would still be cheaper. Even BD 33's aftermarket would be cheaper. But no signature LEDs on BD. ?

Would BD or BB need a lift or anything? Or can handle 33's "out of the box".

This is a question that everyone wants to know the answer

Unfortunately, no one will know for certain until somebody gets a hold of a Bronco and fits a 33. Maybe one of their partner suppliers will get one.

Nobody, (outside of F employees) has even driven Bronco.

I hope this is known before final ordering. It probably will not.

Yeah like @Mountain Bronco said no one knows for sure. One Ford rep said at one event that they could fit 33s as is. Another Ford rep at a different even said the max for BB and BD was 32s. So who knows. Right now it’s just hoping and wishing they do, but with as much space as there is in the wheel well I can’t see it not being able to fit. However it might require an aftermarket wheel with some negative offset to push the tires away from the wheel wells/suspension components.

BD over BB for me. I’ve had two Jeeps and gotten them both caught in the rain with top down/doors off. The MGV and drain plugs are a nice upgrade. I’ve gone away from squatch. I just don’t need it. The general grabbers will look just fine for what I need. Not thrilled about the wheel selection. Dont really care about the lights. With the minor upgrades that I am getting, I’m still coming in at under $40k. I’m happy with that.

Yeah, i really think your hat is safe. Should be able to get 33s on there IMO.
