Best product to clean soft top?

What is "the Best" product to clean the soft top windows?
Is the a kit or what?
What are you guys using especially on the rear window to keep it as clear as possible all the time with no rear wiper it gets hard to see clear. Will RainX type stuff work is that a bad idea?

Plexus Plastic Cleaner is what I have been using on the Bronco soft top windows. Soap and water.

One of the things I did with the Miata in the beginning was a good cleaning followed by a coat of wax. Things rolled like with RainX and other products. It also seemed to help minimize the small scratches...

Aside from tips here, you can always look at the NA section of miata.net which is where the forums were maintained. Cloth top care can also be found on the 124 Spider forums, but those are glass windows...

I have a 22 and windows look good as new. I use only Griots soap. Threat windows with Griots 3in1 ceramic spray wax. In between washes I use Griots ceramic speed shine. For the top I just rinse. If anything drops on it that needs more I use Griots convertible top cleaner. Few times a year I wipe the entire top with it.

New take off tops are so cheap not even worth spending a dime except the Top protectant 1-2 times a year.

I just spray top with wand wash tire and engine cleaner to strip it, let sit for 5 min then rinse thoroughly and wipe down. When dry spray the top protectant on.....after that it's just a rinse job no soap and wipe down till next time.
