Thanks for posting that! Seems simple enough. Has anyone seen what the rings will cost? Beadlocks are cool but not sure how much they will really be needed on anything but the hard core rock rigs out there.

The raptor ones are like $190 each.

Ouch. With the Bronco wheels at $995 + $950(est) for the rings makes a set of 5 about $390 each. Not too much more for for a nice set of Method Beadlocks.

I have MR105’s on my Jeep. I would own another set. Yes, i run them on the street. And run them at 8psi off road.

I wouldn't run beadlocks on the street not because they are illegal or are a grey area in the law. They are just too much of a pain. Most tire shops won't work on them and they take a long time to setup when you have to torque them down. I have the oem "beadlooks" on my raptor and my tire shops complains everytime I go there even though they aren't setup as beadlocks. However they look badass and of course add that much more offroad credibility. Keep in mind the oem beadlock capable wheels are forged aluminum so they are very strong, stronger than most aftermarket wheels and are a great deal from the factory considering how much they are worth 2nd hand. It makes sense to order the wheels even if you don't want them because you can sell them for a profit and they will fit ranger, f150, raptor, and bronco. While the ford beadlock rings are expensive a few small companies have started making the rings at a cheaper price for raptors, and I'm sure the same will happen for bronco. It seems like gen 2 raptor rings will fit the bronco wheels.

Not sure why so many people keep saying this but the Bronco and Ranger DO NOT share a bolt pattern with the F150 (and by extension the Raptor)

And yea, some of the folks who want beadlocks but don't know anything about them need to realize that unlike normal wheels they require maintenance. Be prepared to periodically check your ring bolts, and either mount your tires yourself or search around til you find a tire shop that will touch them (and pay extra)

While the cool factor is obviously something to consider, I just don’t want people to think they need beadlocks to go off road. I will be getting the OEM bead locks, I just like them way better than the standard wheel. Unless you are doing some pretty hardcore trails/ off-roading they are completely overkill and not necessary. That said plenty of folks on here will take these rigs on some extreme trails. I think most of us with some off road experience will be comfortable airing down to 18 psi (some even lower, just wanted a conservative number that won’t cause issues) with out worrying about slipping a bead. BTW 18 psi is plenty low for most situations, Will drastically increase traction and comfort. Once you enter “bead lock territory”, it’s a huge investment in time, Money, and tools. Not worth it to me (but then again, I’m not entering the king of the hammers). Just wanted to make people aware. A stock bronco will amaze you in what it can do, even with out taking advantage of the bead lock capabilities. Enjoy!
