Observation Driving in back seat of 2 door yesterday. Spacing wise there seems to be a perfect spot to install speakers in the panel of the back seat. If someone owns a 2 door, it would be awesome if you can verify the spacing behind the panel.

I know that the fender weld is right there somewhere. But it would be awesome to fill in that space and also fix a problem with the standard audio system.
is this the Bronco Sport?? how come I can't see the C-Channel or the speaker pods??

This was the picture of the early prototype reveal bronco, i was just using the picture as reference.
I had test drove a 2 door bronco yesterday. That demo had the rear speaker pods removed as well to install that JBL rear speaker bar. Man that thing completely destroys visibility out the rear view window. That is a route that i will not be taking.

Here you can see the speakers, but they were probably just placement speakers and non functional.

I must say, I just installed the 600hz Bass Blockers from Crutchfield on the Infinity Ref this morning and they sound INCREDIBLE. Evened out the sound and plenty of bass. Only got to the dash - but, what a difference. I was worried the 600 was too much. I would like to A/B them with the 300. But, at this point I’m excited to have a decent sound system. Not bad for $125 total (found the speakers for $50/pair shipped).

I was thinking 600Hz might let too much base get into the 4" speakers .....I got 14 microfarad blockers on order, which block up to 2.8KHz
Listening to you, now I don't know if I went overboard?!

I wonder how well the factory 6.5 would blend with the Infinity 4”.

We could do 2 sets of the 4”, the bass blockers, some polyfil and an under seat sub. For an economical but nice sounding upgrade.

On the Jeep, the factory 6.5 had better bass and mid-bass than any aftermarket 6.5 I tried. Would be super cool if the Bronco works out that way too.

Went back to the dealership to look at the demo. Definitely the real estate to do some speaker upgrades. Just need to know what’s under those plastic panels.

It seems so logical that I wonder why it isn't there...

Wish there was more input on this. Doing some digging, it looks like the door frame pillar takes up a lot of space. As you can see in the pictures here. Plus the sweet spot.

But looking at the area again, may have to go with smaller speakers then a planned 6x9. Not sure going smaller would help with the base system on the 2 door.

From a purely 100% full custom install? Sure... But that doesn't seem like something that too many people will be looking for in a Bronco. And it will cost many thousands of dollars...

Will not full custom. The B&O has speakers on A, B only the front, then C. Would D work for the high mount speakers in the back? E I think there a hole on the bronco there :unsure:then F there a hole. Will the old head unit handle 950watts? I don't think McIntosh give you a head unit.
