Now that we can place our orders, I still have no idea what I'm going to order.

Three possible builds (all are 4 doors and auto):

#1 - Base Base with Aux Switches, Floor Liners and 2.7

#2 - Base Squatch with Aux Switches, Floor Liners and 2.7

#3 - Big Bend with 2.3, Mid Package, Aux Switches, Floor Liners, Tow Packages, LED and 4.27 Locker.

2.7 on the Base is either to make up for the 3.73 or the 35's. 2.3 on the Big Bend because the gearing upgrade should make up for the torque.

I'm pretty simple on vehicles and the Base has everything that I'm looking for in a new ride. Coming from a 2006 F150 any upgrades would be fantastic.
Order has been sent in:

Went with Option #4!!:

4 Door Base
Velocity Blue
2.3
Automatic
Sasquatch
Floor Liner
Aux Switches

$43,080 per build and price!

BaseSquatch with 2.7 is going to be a beast. Join us.
See post #2,051....went 2.3 with Sasquatch. Went for weight and money savings. If not enough, I'll just get a tune.

Has anybody placed an order yet who can confirm what the invoice pricing is for a basesquatch?
Hopefully I'll have this answer for post #2,051 sometime on Wednesday. Just emailed my order in as I am out of town, and the sales manager said an email is as good as anything.

BTW.....B&P has apparently just added an "Acquisition Fee" of $645?

Totally makes sense. That will still be one hell of an automobile

Will the key fob on the Base also unlock the rear gate or just the doors?
If it is like my Escape, one click unlocks drivers door, 2 clicks unlocks the rest including the rear gate.

Any idea why you cant add receiver hitch on BaseSquatch- really just want it for bike / snowboard racks. Is it easy to add after market? Seems unnecessary to upgrade to another trim level for that.

If I go base, I'm in the same boat. I searched threads and the hitch appears to be a 4 bolt application....unless you want to wire it, then it's a bit more complicated.

You can. It will be provided by Ford parts or third party. This will not be an issue.

Thank you - any other thoughts on what you're missing on a base + sas? This will be far from a daily driver and it seems like everything else is just comfort based or something that probably be customized aftermarket as good or better.

I don't really care about the mid or other packages as I want to keep price down. If I go base, I'm going to watch this forum for the bumpers, etc. that will eventually go on sale and build it up from there.

Out of my 9 possible builds, the basesquatch v6 is the one my inner child screams for the most. I just don't know if it can yell louder than my old fat ass or my wallet. Lol.

Man, you hit the nail on the head. I see you're BB too, but like you that Basesquatch is talking to my (second) inner child (hood). For the same money I can get a BB with all the equipment I need and a few niceties. But for the same money I can get Sasquatch which is, well, a Sasquatch.

With a BB I'll eventually upsize tires just a smidge, with the Sas I'd downsize tires quite a bit (much narrower and 33").

What to do.

dealer said I’ll be ordering this week - any last thoughts appreciated. Although I’m probably going to have to re-order for my22 given my late res date

base-base - carb gray
Manual
2 door
Aux switches
Floor mats (I have these on my f150 and like how they clip in)

First upgrades will be:
Katzkin leather with heated and cooled front seats - dealer working on a deal for us on this
Strapless bikini top for 9-months of the year (SoCal)
Set of 17x9 wheels and 285 70/17 c-rated tires once the originals wear out or I get bored
