Badlands non sas steering upgrade options

Trying to understand the steering upgrade options for 2023 non sas badlands. Want to eventually upgrade to 35 tires min with necessary lift but want to understand steering upgrades first.
I see the ford extreme duty steering is not compatible. Can anyone explain why that is incompatible?

Software. It barely works even on supported models. Its a huge mess.

You can make it work if you bypass the ProCal installation module and use Forscan/FDRS instead - there are some very good posts around here on how to do that.

The actual firmware is fine, but the ProCal is a mess, so if you use FDRS and FORSCAN, then "software" is not an issue. Just wanted to clarify that the rack has basically integrated fine into every Bronco that I have ever programmed a rack for (which is more than a few).

By the way, the HOSS 2.0 rack, while not the strongest rack, will hold up to light to moderate off-roading for the most part.

To beef up the steering on 23 badlands nonsas would it best to go with the 74 stage 1 or the bronco buster stage 3 ultimate steering upgrade package. I am running 35 with a 2 inch lift
