I check the backdoor order viewer on the Ford website at least every week and whenever any updates or rumors emerge. Today I noticed that my order updated for the first time since the October '21 reorder for '22. I still do not have a build date or VIN#. It finally accurately reflects my order, which, after pruning several extras 'my dealer said' the online would only show the initial October '21 options and will not reflect if I had dropped anything. The order reflects the new MY '22.5 pricing and one other curious thing. I was never required by my dealer to place any deposit and now it is showing a $500 order deposit. A few questions for everyone-

-Did this update happen to anyone else?
-Does this mean anything or foreshadow my build being previewed? (I wasn't scheduled this week-and I know there is not scheduling next week.)
-Does the $500 order deposit mean anything or is it a standard thing?
-any other thoughts?

thanks to anyone with info.
Sounds to me like your dealership finally just pushed through your changes. Any time I've asked my dealership to make changes to my order they show up in the back door tracker as soon as he makes them.

all I have is a 4 digit order number. we ordered at the dealer
So that means you can't use any back door links currently. You'll need to wait to get a vin before you can use any of the links. Your dealer can provide the vin, and bronco support can provide the vin, but not until it is issued. how do you know if it has been issued? You just have to check, or if you get the email that your bronco has been scheduled. It can't be scheduled without a vin.

My build picture was updated a while ago.
Though earlier this week I noticed MSRP, pricing, Deposit were added to the backdoor link.

I did ask my dealer GM about it. No new information about that but he did sent me an email in writing reassured mine is still under Price Protection II and the finial purchase price will be honored as initially agreed.

Mine updated finally also, and mine shows the $500 deposit which I haven't gave any money except the $100 reservation.

Without having a paid reservation on ford.com. Folks who walked into a dealer with no reservation and ordered can only call/chat Ford or call their dealer. That's pretty much it.
