I check the backdoor order viewer on the Ford website at least every week and whenever any updates or rumors emerge. Today I noticed that my order updated for the first time since the October '21 reorder for '22. I still do not have a build date or VIN#. It finally accurately reflects my order, which, after pruning several extras 'my dealer said' the online would only show the initial October '21 options and will not reflect if I had dropped anything. The order reflects the new MY '22.5 pricing and one other curious thing. I was never required by my dealer to place any deposit and now it is showing a $500 order deposit. A few questions for everyone-

-Did this update happen to anyone else?
-Does this mean anything or foreshadow my build being previewed? (I wasn't scheduled this week-and I know there is not scheduling next week.)
-Does the $500 order deposit mean anything or is it a standard thing?
-any other thoughts?

thanks to anyone with info.

My tracker updated about 2 months ago to show the changes I made when I reordered for 22. It then updated about a month ago to show the picture of the correct build. I think Ford is just really slow at updating their system.

My 2021 order never showed the correct color, but had the right options listed in the details.

When I placed the 2022 re-order for the Badlands the details and model year date updated, but the picture did not.

About three days before I placed the handraiser GT order changes, the picture of my Badlands order finally updated to the actual color and options I ordered.

(It never got a scheduled week.)

Then I placed the Raptor order. It took about a week for the back door to update to a Raptor, with the right options, and interestingly the pricing (including a $0 line item for ADM).

Mine says $500 deposit too, but I actually paid a $500 deposit.

I have no idea why the Badlands picture took so long to conform to my ordered configuration, or whether that signaled anything (like it was being previewed). Who the hell knows. I do know I called Ford after each order change to make sure they saw it, and it was at the priority code my dealer said it was at.

Net: I think it is arbitrary, or maybe this was part of Ford converting to the backdoor page format which includes the pricing summary.

Why it switched to 22-1/2 pricing and shows the deposit who knows.

If I were you I would make sure the Your Selections section is as you have ordered, and also if the MSRP and Options pricing looks like how you've configured.

Don't think of anything about the pricing on the back door tracker. It will put Ford's current pricing even if you have price protection for a MY21. And I put down $400 in addition to the $100 as a down payment and mine says I put $100 down.

The trackers are all so out of whack that it could mean anything. Hell your bronco could be delivered before it even says you're built.

nope, mine still shows a 2.3L base model. Just about everything listed is incorrect except for my contact information and deposit paid.

Mine finally updated Friday. I was slightly over enthusiastic, having just returned from the dealership, picking up my wife’s Bronco. Both 6/21 orders. Time will tell if means anything 😃

Mine didn't update with my current build for a long time, then eventually updated with the new specs from when I reordered in Oct'21(? I forget when the order banks reopened). Fast forward a few more months when I called my dealer to drop the tow package since it was a constraint according to Ford. Checked back several times on the backdoor and nothing changed.

Then yesterday I saw the "Keep checking your email" topic here and figured what the hell checked the backdoor again. Tow package was dropped, and now it says in production for the week of 5/23.

No VIN, no email, but after seeing it stuck for nearly two years I am being cautiously optimistic that maybe, just maybe sometime in the near future I will finally have my Bronco. But just to be sure I will be calling my salesman on Monday to see if he can dig up anything.

Make sure you are signed into your Ford account before trying the link. Make sure you are using your reservation number, eight digits long.

Without the $500 deposit, experience asshole dealers can deny your purchase. I learned that a “reservation is not an order without $500 deposit”. Luckily my dealer is one we frequent with our company buying fleets. The GM emailed me in writing that they will sell me my First Edition at MSRP. Cool guy.

Do you have a reservation number? You can't access anything on line anything without a Reservation number or a Vin + Order #
